You know, I love the idea of Gilbert being Tabby of the Month. He was a terrific cat and a wonderful member of this group. He was significant in his contribution to getting us where we are today as a group.

Hey Sagan and Casey. Your hearts are certainly in the right place. Gilbert was a sweet guy. But he left this group cause his mom could not stay active on catster.
She came to catster to tell us the Gilbert has gone to the Bridge
(July6 diary entry) and has not been back since.
I believe that Gilbert is gone from catster.
Hope everyone understands my thinking....

Tabbies,

We are experiementing with how to select the Tabby of the Month.

This month we will use a DemoCATic purrocess. Nominations will be open until this Friday August 28. The nomination must be posted in this thread.

Nominations will close on Furiday and you will be able to vote from the list of nominated tabbies on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

On Tuesday the tabby with the most votes will win and be announced on September 1 (or 2 or 3).

We'll see how this works!
