There 2 categories of help.
one is:videos
the other is actual templates
The videos were especially helpful to me.
I had these~"OH! So that's how it's done moments!"
Great fun and very satisfying when you finally make one you like.

Please use this thread to ask questions.
Don't be shy!

Good luck

Hi Alfie, despite all the wonderful help on this group, my mum's still having trouble making the most basic of Kimis. MOL. Mum's human daughter Louise is coming at the weekend to help my mum out. In the meantime I'd like to ask you a BIG favour. It's mine and my twin brothers Albie's 11th birthdays on Sunday 13 July and wondered if you could make them a Kimi each for their birthday, then hopefully after the weekend mum will be able to make her own.
Love & purrs Alfie

p.s. did you see the Kimi of Pansy kidnapping Lancelot (in the boat). My mum laughed so much she nearly choked!

Hey Alfie, I have already made the kimis for your birthday. It was to be a surpriseshh
Not only that but please come to Tabbies with 'Tude where you will be the wallpaper, thanks to our talented Queenie.

As for Lancelot, those are very cute and funny but they are not kimis.
It's a software called Paintshop Pro. It is much more complicated than making kimis not to mention it is expensive.
I keep hoping someone would suprise me with one but so far no lucksilenced
Love,
Alfie

Thankyou Alfie, we just love our Kimis and mum's still not given up on trying to make one herself, but it will take loads of practice before she can make one anything like you.

Good question Kinsey.
Some like Happy Birthday and Congratulations
we found on photobucket.
There are a couple of sited that allow you to save your text (without codes which are truly annoying) to your computer and then upload
to the kimi you are working on.
I will post them both to the group links.
One is called glittermyway and the other is comment haven.
Have fun

Ok, I did it and I'm pretty proud of the results! dancing I made a "summer" kimi for my doggie brofur Corky. It is the last photo in my catster photobook and is also in the stroll.

Hooked, I tell ya! I hope she remembers to feed me!! laugh out loud

Hi, my question is: is there an easy way to cut out just me or my siblings to paste on a background?
We're hoping to find an easier way than painstakingly drawing round the outline in paint etc, similar to using the fill in function on blingee.

I know you have- chicken & I want- it.

There are two methods I use.
1 Put in your choice background. Add photo circle, put yourself in circle, use shaping tool (green dots) to remove background off of you-then of course you can move yourself all over page, or change your size!

2 Use Blingee to fill background in choice of color, save to file, upload on imikimi, stretch if necessary-and decorate.

I like to use method one the most, once you remove most of the background, you can enlarge image long enough to do some more background removal, then size back down to desired size. If you want the glitz and glam of blingee , finish your imikimi , save to file leaving an extra half inch at bottom of kimi, upload on blingee, glitz away. Save picture to your file and either use your photo software or kimi to remove extra half inch at bottom and removing ugly blingee logo!
