Hello evfurrybody!!

My new brother Aldo will be arriving soon! Gimme's mommy is taking him to the vet this coming week to get his certificate to fly. My whole furmily is very excited. Even our aunt Leslie is getting in on things. She's driving Mommy to the airport to pick up sweet Aldo.happy dance

Mommy says the first thing she's going to do when she sees him is burst into tears. Then she's going to bring him home to relax in a bedroom all his own for a few days. Then he has to go to our vet and we have to make sure he's getting the right nutrition so his poor fur will grow back.

We're all thinking about Tess, too. We hope she's safe and loved and has a full tummy.

Hi! Sisfur and I are so glad that you are excited about your new brother Aldo coming. He has had a hard time, poor little guy. So it is awful good of you and your mommy to be giving him a good home. applause

Aldo is flying? oh poor guy. So much trauma in such a short time. We thought the railroad was driving him up. Glad he will soon be in one place and able to stay there.

Because Aldo is very easily stressed we thought he would do better with a quick trip as opposed to many hours moving from car to car. Once he is in Baltimore we know he will settle in well.

I can't wait until Aldo is safely in his new home. I'll be crying, too! And I do hope that Tess, wherever she is, has a full belly, too. I'm sorry she won't be making the trip with Aldo, but I am still hopeful that we'll get some good news about her soon.

Thank your Mommy for opening her home and her heart to Aldo!

I'm so glad that Aldo will be in his new forever home soon. I was like Chester at first thinking flying would really tax him, but then I realized it would be so much quicker than going from car to car for hundreds of miles.

Hopefully Aldo will sleep through his plane ride & not even notice. mol

cheer I'm excited for your family O'Malley! cheer

My mommy takes Amtrak all the time, because she hates to fly. She says Amtrak is SLOW, and subject to lots of random stops to wait for freight trains to clear the tracks, to change engineers, and sometimes just for kicks. A flight from Florida to Maryland will be so much faster. Any way you look at it, little Aldo will have to be stressed one more time. But then he's HOME! big grin

We wish Aldo well on his flight, and send purrs to efurryone who has aided in his rescue, and of course to his new meowmy for giving him a furever home.
Purring that dear Tess is being loved and spoiled at this very moment!

Oh we're so happy to hear that Aldo will soon be journeying to his furr-ever home! happy dance

Efurry situation is unique. My sister Zoe flew to Mom. I came home in a cardboard carrier on a city bus. Last July, Jasper and Jillian travelled two days via the Catster Railroad.

No matter the journey, the destination sure was worth it!!! way to go

Bless you for opening your heart and home to Aldo!

O'Malley sorry, we didnt mean to be confusing. We didnt mean a real railroad like Amtrak. We meant the catster railroad where a bunch of people drive in a chain to transport a kitty somewhere.

I do realize flying is faster, but when we were moving to MN our vet said faster is not always better in that case. Flying is pretty scary for a pet in the cargo hold, they are alone, its noisy and freaky. In a car they are with someone at all times.

Wish we lived in Florida we would offer to drive him up.
