Hi all, we're new here on Catster. There are currently four of us furry ones living in the house. We have the whole basement as one big kitty playroom plus the living room, two bedrooms and an office upstairs so we can all sleep in separate rooms if we want to. (But most of the time we all sleep together on mommy's bed.) We have in total seven litter boxes in four different locations. Mommy didn't plan to have that many, but we all prefer different types and I don't like to pee and poo in the same box, so there's three hooded ones, two small uncovered ones and two extra large ones for us big bums. Oh, and we love water and tend to mess it up, so we have a water fountain, three big water bowls and four small water bowls.
Hello Everyone! I'm new to Catster and so happy to be a part of this great community.
I have 17 cats and one dog. All of our pets have been either rescued or adopted from previous owners.
My mother and I live in a small house, approximately 1200 sq. ft., and we have 5 litter boxes; there are 4, normal sized boxes and one, big litter box upstairs in the loft. This big litter box is actually a child's, plastic swimming pool. And, it been the best decision we've ever made for our cats.
Hi all! We are new to the group, and since I'm the computer savvy one, I get to do the posting! There are 6 of us in a 2 story 3 bedroom house. We own two humans. There are currently only 4 litterboxes out, 3 downstairs and 1 upstairs. The litter robot is on the list of things to do, I think, but Momma just got us 3 new littermaids, so I don't know that she's going to get us a litter robot too. We also have 2 water fountains, they are so nice! If you check out the pictures of my brother Buddy's profile, there is one in there of him taking the small fountain apart
We have two cats, the same age - we live in a bi-level home (average size) dah, dont know the sq footage, -
1 Large litter box that is kept up stairs.
THATS IT !
We live in an air conditioned inside/outside building. Its like our own house! There are 5 of us and we share 2 jumbo litter boxes that get cleaned twice a day.
Hi! 6 of us plus 2 Hoomans!
We share a 3 bedroom house in the country and have 2 large purpose built litter boxes which are cleaned three times a day.
We have our own room too which is full of toys etc!
There are 2 kitties in our family. When we lived in a 2BR apartment (a little over 1000 sq. ft.), we had 2 litter boxes (1 covered, 1 uncovered). I know that we were supposed to have 3 but we were fine with 2. For the summer we are staying in a huge house (6000 sq. ft., 5BR) and so the cats are confined to their own loft (I'd say it's about 500 sq. ft., but that's just a guess), where there are 2 uncovered boxes. They don't have free range of the house (it's not our house, don't want them ruining anything). They really only use 1 of the boxes in their room, I guess they like the location of it more. I clean the litter boxes every day.
We have five litter boxes for us four kitties. Four are average sized and one is the largest Daddy could find. The big one is for Snowflake as she has problems with the average sized boxes... Problems meaning she would end up with poop on the britches part of her fur, a not too pleasant look for a white kitty. We live in a ranch, so Mommy and Daddy keep the boxes in the basement where they can be spread out without getting too much in the way.
