Our mom is switching us to Feline Pine, because friends of hers said the dust from the clumping clay isn't healthy for our lungs. Any opinions on this?
Any opinions on your favorite litter?
We're looking forward to tracking pine all over the house.kitty

We have never tried feline pine. Mom once gave us this litter that was made out of "newspaper pellets"... it was good for the "Poop" but not so good for the urine because it held the odor... so we use our old trusty Fresh step regular cat litter.

Sorry I can't be of more help. shrug

We always used Feline Pine, mama and daddy liked it but not for 6 kitties. They use Fresh step and think it's the best for all of us

We don't ever use clumping

If you have just a few kitties Feline Pine will be great

My People Mommy uses Feline Pine in our baby box. She says that it won`t hurt us if we track it into our meals. We do that decause we`re just Itty-Bitties yet. Oh, and she says it smells good, because we`re still confined to their bedroom/nursery.

Following up on the litter question.

Mom wasn't as crazy about the "clumping" feline pine, because she had saw dust all over the house. She said she'd like that if she gets us an enclosed litter box.

She then tried the "original" feline pine--which is pine pellets. She likes it a bit better. The pellets EXPLODE into saw-dusty parts when we pee on them (she scoops what she can out of the box when she sees areas that are all dust instead of pellets--and our poop, of course). So far she likes it.

we've recently started using the feline pine too. so far mom is happy with it as it's pretty cheap and biodegradable. it can be flushed. i've heard good things about that wheat litter too. is it swheat?? not sure. there is some pine dust that scatters, but not as bad as the clumping litters mom thinks. it seems to control the embarrassing odors well too. in search of the perfect litter!

Baby G--good question! It should matter on whether we like it.
We think it's okay...we are just happy to have a place to do our business...now mom notices our poop more though and keeps going crazy because she worries we don't poop enough! Ugh...then she gives us petromalt (says it's because we are really furry too and we never hack up fur balls)...and massages us (she thinks a good massage get's all out body parts stimulated and might help). We think she is totally insane!--but we love her anyway...I cuddle her everynight and hope she never gets a boyfriend who will get in my way.

Sapogi,

Perhaps we will both be feline pine cats :^)...mom just bought another bag.

Reba (she loves me and volunteers with Mom at the shelter) was wondering about the Wheat Litter too. Mom looked at it at the store...but thought it was a little expensive (she's a big cheapo sometimes...but you'd never know it if you saw how many toys we have).

If anyone tries the Wheat though...we'd like to hear your thoughts.

you freakin- think so...

ooh, litter! humum says this is like, my 3rd favorite subject! i heart, heart, heart worlds best! we tried a bunch of healthier stuff n it always stuck to my tosies. she'd find it everywhere! she said she didn't like me n my brother using clay stuff because she couldn't com-post it. i don't know what that means, but sure hope it's not like my scratching post...blarg! anyhow, worlds best cost more, so that means less treats for us, n less chocolate for humum, but it doesn't smell or track. yay! clean tosies!
