 | |  | | Sounds like Bastet. Spotted skin, and a 'leaping leopard' as I call her. She nearly grabbed a bird out of flight last summer. I am 5'5". She was on her leash which she loves, I have a double cat leash and when I hook her up outside with me, I also put her on a double dog tether. If I had not been standing on the leash when she leaped in the air, she would have caught the bird.
SHe also has funny sounds. She has a whistle which I guess is such a high pitch meow that it sounds like a bird. She doesn't growl or hisss, but she 'hums'. She also says the short a sound when she is excited about watching birds outside. She also has a beautiful singing voice..which sounds like a 5-6 tone scale going up one step at a time in a beautiful sweet sound. She is the most affectionate of the 3 cats I own, and since Miss Kitty's crossing, Bastet is now reining queen even though she just turned 2 and the other 2 are much older. Bastet is my special Egyptian Goddess and she knows it. |  |  | |  |
