	haven't heard any updates....any news?? we'll go light a candle again and hope that whereever nikki is, there is good food, pets and a warm bed at night. paws...pogi

	Nikki has not returned home - I lit another candle and send purrs to Nikki's Mommy! Baby-G

	we are so sad about nikki....that is the worst, never knowing what happened and praying the kitty is okay. long ago mom had fido, she took off after her sibling, iggy, passed away. they were from the same litter and were 17-18 years old. mom thinks she just couldn't bear to be without iggy, but she still thinks about her and wonders what happened. she was an indoor cat only, never tried to escape and then after iggy, she bolted. of course, what made it worse was that she kept checking in at the shelter for missing cats....after several weeks some worker there said that where she was looking wasn't the missing cats...those were in some back room..these were up for adoption. fido could have come and been euthanized...she did have tags and was generally too scared to go near anyone but mom....
