 |  |  |  | I have six on each front paw and 4 on the back. My extra toes are really quite short, and with the hair that grows between my pads mom says it's always an adventure at claw clipping time.
I am not mom's first polydactl, however. Her very first kitty, Bas, (who went over the bridge 16 years ago) had 6 on each front paw and 5 on each hind paw. She also had a cat named HarleyP Davison who had 7 on each front paw and 5 on each hind paw. He went over the bridge about 18 years ago. Maybe someday she'll find pictures of them and put them on Catster, too.
BTW - normal cats DO have 5 front toes and 4 hind toes.
