I have 6 toes on my front paws and 5 on the back ones. How many does a regular cat have? My brother Oscar has 5 on the front and 4 on the back. Mom thinks his looks like a regular paw but was wondering. She loves my thumbs, when I was a baby they looked huge but I've grown into them. I'm still a small girl just have a little belly roll, which is more of me to hug smile

I have seven claws on my frontpaws and six on my back paws, the one on my backfeet are to no use at all, they just grow out of nowhere and need to be trimmed every other month

I have 7 on the front, 6 on my right rear and 5 on my left, making 25 total. My daddy thinks it's kinda creepy, but mommy loves it! I even like to get my claws clipped!

I have six on each front paw and 4 on the back. My extra toes are really quite short, and with the hair that grows between my pads mom says it's always an adventure at claw clipping time.

I am not mom's first polydactl, however. Her very first kitty, Bas, (who went over the bridge 16 years ago) had 6 on each front paw and 5 on each hind paw. She also had a cat named HarleyP Davison who had 7 on each front paw and 5 on each hind paw. He went over the bridge about 18 years ago. Maybe someday she'll find pictures of them and put them on Catster, too.

BTW - normal cats DO have 5 front toes and 4 hind toes.
