	Titch - I'm so glad you found the book thread - that's what we hoped would happen with the group!! We wanted a place where everycat could go to find cat book recommendations. What did you think of the first book? You obviously enjoyed it enough to move on to the 2nd...

	I loved it! It's been a while since I read any "proper" fantasy so it took a while to get into it. But I think also that is the way Gayle wrote it - you warm up to the characters slowly, get to know them gradually. Doyce is a reserved character, after everything she's been through - not a surprise, but I fell for Khar straight away! And I too loved the imprinting scene, and when Harrup met Parm I melted! I'm going to finish the third book then reread them, might be a little more articulate then!

	Hi, Titch! I'm glad you found the book, too. (I really need to check out my own group more often.) I have more sympathy for Kharpern than I do for Doyce. But as you notice in the books, the cats all cover up for their bondmates' shortcomings.
