"Botulism" portrays at the same time both Pompeii and Vesuvius, a vivid reminder of Life's precariousness. We see lava streams engulfing, eradicating all in their paths--the paths of Life. Raisin has given us the spectacle of witnessing what was once nutrient (the cat food, the milk, even the champagne) being turned to poison, en route to becoming a toxin not just to us but also to society at large. "Botulism" serves us Life's debris, fit only for a hazardous waste facility.
Now close that refrigerator door already, Raisin!
