Alaska's close to Russia, right?
Nothing else stuck, and then a guy that hung around mentioned a band named Juno and it sortof stuck, though the spelling changed to match the city.

I came with my name from the shelter in Seattle. Mom thought it wasn't very girly, but definitely unique. I think my previous owners liked the Mariners- their slogan is Sodo Mojo...

Lacee

Don't mess with- me! MEOW!

I was in a local pound and I saw 2 kids and their mother it looked like and the mother's mother. I didn't know if they all lived together or who I would be living with at the time and they started talking to these worker people who give me food and water and they came over to the door that leads into where all of the kittys are and they kept looking around and this one little boy came over to me and said "How about this one?" then the other's rushed over to him and said "Aww, she's so cute!" and then I think they asked a worker guy to get me out of my cage to let me go in this room and play around awhile and see how those people liked me, and they loved me since I wasn't too big or hyper! Next thing I know I'm walking out of the shelter with these 4 people and a bed for me to sleep in beside me! I got all excited and accidently scaratched the nice lady, she didn't hurt me though she just said calm down so I did. I got to ride in the car, but let me tell you I didn't like it what-so-ever! It was scary to me since I was only 4 months old. I lived happily with the mom's mom for about 2 months but I didn't know she had lung cancer and the nice lady named me Lacee. After 2 months passed of me sleeping with the nice lady and sometimes in my bed one day something bad happened, but I don't know what. All I remember is this little girl saying "It's okay Lacee Bug." and I remember being in the car ride home to their house. It's been about 6-7 months without seeing the nice lady again, I wish I could of spent more time with her. Everyday I wish she was here. :[

And that's how I got my name.

I got my name because one day I was walking away from Mom and Dad (When I still lived outside) and my Dad said that my two white
back legs made me look like I was wearing pants. From then on I became 'Pants'.

Buddy

Of course this- is my water dish

I got named before anyone in my house knew me, but since I'm everyone's best friend it's stuck with me. I was rescued, flew to Seattle from New England and then rescued again, so my origins are a little foggy. I respond to any name that's friendly and specially if it's in baby talk.

Leo

Is it time for- breakfast yet?

I used to have a horrible name... Chevreuil. It means "Honeysuckle" in French. How unmasculine for a tough guy like me! Fortunately, when I got a new home, I got a new name. I was named for Leo Tolstoy. It took my Mommy and Daddy a long time to name me, about a week. Daddy kept wanting to name me science fiction names but Mommy stuck to her guns about giving me a name with dignity after living eight months as "Chevreuil."
I love my new name and my new Mommy!snoopy
