Alright does anyone have a favorite catnip toy? I don't. and I think I need one. I have lots of toys especially bouncy balls (which I love to chase!), but I have no toys with catnip. If I get a catnip toy will I loose interest in it eventually? You know like building up a resistance to something? Will I loose my love of nip? I really do appreciate the fresh stuff that I get now and then. I don't want to over do it. What do you all think?

I have the best catnip toys ever. My Mom found these little fabric mice that are filled with catnip. They have/had suede tails and ears, but I tear the tails off as soon as I get them. smile I have had these toys for 5 years, and I still love them. When I am having an especially stressful day, I find one of my catnip mice and hold it between my paws and lick it until my worries float away.

I have a bunch. These are the only toys Dad buys. But because I throw them up in the air, I'm always losing them! It's fun though. You hook a claw into the toy and then whip it up into the air, then try to attack it before it hits the ground! So much fun! Eeep!

My favorite is a Bill Gates doll that has the catnip built in. My Dad encourages me to beat up this particular toy more than the others. But it's fun! I don't know who this Gates is, but Dad says he deserves to be bitten on the head, so I do it!

My mommy agrees that the Gates man deserves to be bitten in the head. I have several favorite catnip toys. Mommy learned to knit and made me a catnip eggroll, and then she learned to sew so I have a catnip fortune cookie made from felt and a felt toy that looks like a fried egg. She likes to make funny toys.

Say, does your mom use regular felt? I tore up some felt stuff before. Dad said something called canvas or denim would be better? (I don't wear clothes, so that all goes over my head) And is the catnip just stuffed in it or does she put other stuff in?

I am suspicious of the questions Dad made me ask, but please get the answers, cuz maybe he'll make me some fun toys!

Hello everyone. My name is Clover. My mommy just bought use this cat teaser toy that she suction cups to the fridge. She put some catnip on it and my brother and I can't get enough of it. As soon as we hear the bell on it we come running even if we are in a deep sleepsmile. It is very soft and we just love it, but only one of us at a time can play with it because we hiss and growl at the other one. We also have stuffed mice, balls, and all kinds of catnip toys all over the housesmile.

I agree with Xander, tell us more about these toys that your mom makes for you Blixa!!! I would probably do alright with the felt. I am pretty gentle with my toys, but I think my little brother would rip them up, although he doesn't seem to be into the nip yet (poor thing!).

Ginger Cat, my mommy makes great felt toys - they are pretty strong too but I"m not that rough with them. She likes to make toys that look like funny stuff, she made one for a friend that looked like a cigarette. I bet she would make one for you if you asked her. ;-)

Oh I love my catnip sock! Mommy stuffs it with the freshly grown catnip leaves from our garden! Of course the sock is the one that I stole from her drawer and slept with as a companion while I was a baby so she decided to make it lots more fun for me!

Hey Jazmine, I have a sock like that too! I kept playing with it until mom gave in and now it's mine smile It doesn't have catnip in it, but she did put a bell in it. I really like toys that make noises.
Blixa, that's cool would your mom really do that for me? How sweet!
