I keep my best friend's 5 month old baby several times a week. It is possible that he is allergic to cat hair/dander, so I was wondering if anyone used air filtration systems in their household that they could recommend. My friend herself has two cats, but they also use air filter systems & her son is fine. I cannot afford the ones like she has though, so any recommendations would be appreciated.

We use a tower one that is supposed to pull alot of stuff from the air. They have gotten even better since we bought ours. We paid about 200 for ours, and it works well. We actually have 2, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. I have asthma (mom) husband has asthma and COPD, and Ruffy and Princess both had allergies and breathing issues.

I forget the name of our system, but it's pretty common.
