I have been seeing carpenter ants again. Every summer, I see some come out. I don't want to use any toxic sprays or anything of course with the cats. Please help.

My daughter had luck using bay leaves by the ant trail in her house. What about those little round traps? I have also heard that talcum powder works, but not sure if that is safe by kitties.

I have had a lot of luck spraying around the outside the house. My cats don't go outside though. It keeps the ants out and I don't have to put anything indoors.
