Diego died last night :*(

	Tuesday Diego either got into a trap,or hit by a car,or maybe attacked by something, I guess we will never really know....but he had a massive cut in his leg, you could see bone and tendons The Vet game him a shot of antibiotics and pain pills...he was doing fine Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday afternoon it all went downhill fast... I knew by 4:00 he would not last much longer, he would throw himself in the litter box and howl..but he was able to go to the bathroom...and he was breathing funny, then a few hours later his breathing got very gurgley, and fluid was coming up out of his mouth...i left for a few seconds and then went back to see how he was and he was going....it was not peaceful at all i just sat there and rubbed his head till it was all over :( I guess we will never know what happened to him, but at least his is no longer suffering :(

	This is Delyte. We are so very sorry that Diego suffered so much but he was with you at the end. Sometimes they can't get back to their people after something horrible happens. We're sure he knew you were there and it did make it better. Now he is a beautiful angel kitty on the Bridge, where there are no cars or traps and he can run forever and still love you. Giant sad purrs to you from me and the Grays...

	I'm so sorry to hear about that. I know how much Diego was loved, and it was truly a shame he suffered such a bad injury. He'll be waiting for you at the rainbow bridge. He's a little kitty angel now, and will be watching over you.

	I am so sorry my family does not even know if my crossing was peaceful or not no one knew I was going and no one was there, please take some comfort in knowing that you were there with Diego my mom wishes she could have known and been there with me. Sorry seems so meaningless but we really do know how you hurt and our pain is still very fresh, many hugs to your family and my bridge family is here for you.

	So sorry for your loss of Diego, poor soul to go that way, he was surrounded by your love on his journey and I am sure that was a comfort to him. He is flying on golden gossamer wings and frolicing in catnip fields at the bridge, whole and painfree again.
