|My Boku died in my arms at age 18 from a combination of liver failure, senility, and simple old age. I cried during the hour or so that it took him to die, and until he finally faded away, he was trying to comfort me with his meows. What I am trying to say is that when Mollie was dying, she was probably as worried about you as you were about her. That's cat love. All of us who have lost cats, especially to accidents, know how you feel. But it was not your fault, and I'm sure that she died feeling love for you. Many purrs to you. Pet loss is a recognized phenomenon, and if you need it, don't hesitate to seek out counseling. Again, hugs and purrs.
