Human got another kitten yesterday shock She thought her crazy Aby kitten could use a friend to play with.

Leroy the Aby eats Nature's Variety frozen raw and a little canned. The new kitten is a little older than Leroy (6-7 months) and eats mostly junky dry food shrug She ate a little canned food but only after it was sitting in a bowl for a few hours. How do we switch her over to the frozen raw? Human offered a little piece of raw but the new kitten would not eat it shrug

The new kitty nibbled on some of Leroy's Nature's Variety raw smile Maybe it was because there was some crushed up freeze dried raw on top thinking I think we're slowly on our way of switching her to raw food smile

Just an update on the new kitten smile

The diet change is still going slowly. She mostly picks at Nature's Variety nuggets shrug But if Human mixes crushed up freeze dried Stella and Chewy's into a Nature's Variety chicken nugget, she'll eat it smile Leroy the other kitten doesn't seem to like the chicken nuggets anymore shrug so the new kitten will finish it off for him but only if it has Stella and Chewy's mixed in.

I would definitely try Frankenprey with the kittens. I have a kitten foster in who is finicky about canned food but goes crazy for any of BK's leftover meat, including bones. I haven't had a kitten yet who hasn't taken to it immediately. Just a thought.

The new kitten ate two raw chicken nugget withough any fuss for dinner way to go Only a little freeze dried raw was mixed in. She even stole a little raw lamb nugget from Leroy's bowl laugh out loud Human bought a bag of Stella and Chewy's today (silly Human bought the patties instead of the nuggets but no matter) and got a free trial pack of Primal Pet. Maybe the kitten will like those.

For now commerical raw food is easiest for Human to feed. Leroy will eat plain raw chicken meat so maybe one day we'll make our own raw or use a pre-mix.

I have read the outer box on my cats fave food, the Felix as good as it looks, can't see any cereal in there, all good so far. Now to get them on to Orijen instead of the rubbish they are eating at the minute, not that it's rubbishlaugh out loud, but it contains cereal even though not the cheapest food. Then I might try them on raw see how they go.
