We just recently got our female Pixie Bob kitten and she is 14 weeks old. Our breeder recommended Flint River dry food, so we got that. They also recommended giving her raw meat three times a week and Gerber's turkey baby food for a treat.

Well, my wife's sister has worked for PAWS and now a vet and she says that the Flint River probably has grain in it to bind everything together. Her sister also said that the kitten needs wet food as "cats" don't like water, so the wet food is giving her the "wet" that she needs.

Are Pixie Bobs' motabolizims different than other cats and is the breeder's information correct?
