 |  |  |  | Cat breeds are judged more on facial and body configuration rather than behavior, but ALL of my Maine Coons play with water, so there are some traits that are pretty much hard-wired into a cat. Yes, your cat does have that "Maine Coon" look--the eyes, the nose (too bad you don't have a profile shot) and the muzzle suggest that your cat may very well have Maine Coon blood. Don't forget that weight is not always a way to judge whether a cat is a Maine Coon or not--the females are smaller than the males (averaging about 11 pounds) and the males are heavier and bigger. Harvey, my Regional Winner, is a sleek 6.2 kg and looks like a ferret. Spike, my Japanese moggie, weighs 8.4 kg (yes, he needs to go on a diet). |  |  |  |  |
