|Welcome to the board!
Mochi is such a cutie little girl, bless you, bless you for giving her, and her brother a home.
Being her age, ballpark 8 weeks, and the fact that who knows where she came from, and prob was not taught socialization skills by her kitty mommy, and some kitties are more outgoing than others, this is actually pretty normal behavior. That she is friendly with people, is a huge plus, better this way, than the other way around.
It takes kittens a good 14 days to become acclumated to their new home, and some a little longer. What pets do you have? Doggies and/or other kitties? How do they react to her. Some hissing and/or growling is also pretty normal. When I brought my kittens home at 8 weeks, Bumpurr thought they were toys that moved by themselves, that his mommy got for him, he was just playing, but he plays rough, and he had to learn, no playing rough with kittens.
So that Mochi is not overwhelmed, and not scared, and if she runs, they will chase her, so you don't want that either, it just scares her further. Get a large dog crate, the kind that has the bars all around, put Mochi in there, with soft blankeys, and let the other pets come up to her, and sniff her. That way, they can't get to her. Do this when you interact her with the other pets. She should also be quarinted in another room, when you can not supervise her around the other pets. Or shut the other pets in another room.
This doesn't happen overnight, you have to be patient, this is all new to Mochi. As you can see from the picture, the kittens love Bumpurr, they hang on him, and he is their mentor and big brother.
