I just want to add an endorsment for Capstar. It's a good way to kill the adults right away and I've used it on young kittens and elderly kittens. But it doesn't kill eggs so you either have to repeat within weeks or bathe.

You can bathe the little one in Dawn (I think that's the one ... correct me if I'm wrong!) dishwashing detergent. It kills fleas. But keep it away from the baby's face/eyes.

Capstar is definitely the way to go if the kitty is less than 8 weeks. After that, Advantage is OK in small doses. Check with your vet. They'll help you figure out what's best.
