	Brandy, age 1 month, is going to lose her right eye due to an infection. The vet is going to do surgery on her sometime in January as he says she is too young and too small and weak to have surgery right now. Brandy was a stray living in my owner's sister's back yard until she developed an infection in both eyes. My owner's wife brought her home and took her to the vet. The vet gave her medicine and she has managed to save one of poor Brandy's eyes, but the right one was beyond saving. Brandy has gained a half a pound in the six days she has been with us. We are hoping she continues to gain weight as she needs to be strong enough to survive the surgery. Please pray for Brandy as she needs all the prayers she can get right now. Thank you. 	This is Delyte and the Grays. We are purring for little Brandy to keep growing and thriving! We hear that when you have an eye removed, especially so young, you don't even notice it. It will probably be great to be healthy and running around and have a great house of wonderful people to take care of you and play with! Have a wonderful life, Brandy!

	Brandy had to go to the vet a few days ago. She had a really awful scab on her eye that had to be removed. Brandy was really brave and hardly fussed at all over what had to be a really painful procedure. Sadly the vet now says that while Brandy's left eye is going to be saved, it has been so badly scarred by the infection that she will never be able to see well out of it. Brandy is a fighter though. She just keeps doing her best to get to know her new home and her surroundings. She has also managed to carve a very special place for herself in her mommy and daddy's hearts. They will do the very best they can to see that she never wants for anything the rest of her life. They spoil all of us cats so I am sure Brandy will get the same amount of loving attention all of us get.
