 | | | | Thanks for purring for Lola. She still isn't doing well.
Her mouth is better and her congestion is much better -- those problems were helped by the steroid she had about a week ago. But she still won't eat on her own. Mom is feeding her every couple of hours and getting a good amount of food in her, but she continues to get weaker.
Mom knows there is something else going on now, and the vet thinks Lola has now encountered something she can't overcome, although nothing has been apparent from her recent blood tests (another vet also looked at them and even ran more tests when she was in emergency a couple weeks ago).
Lola will go to the vet in the morning for new blood tests and be put on IV fluids (with antibiotics and any supplements needed based on her tests), and probably x-rays to see if there are any clues about what is going on. Mom and Dad will decide what to do after that. Lola's vet cannot do ultrasound, so Lola would have to go to a specialist clinic for that, if needed.
Lola still need purrs. | | | | |
