	POSITIVE TURN by EMMA - UPDATE! Thank you Hazel Lucy for adding me here to the list from the forum Chewy started for me. All these purrs just feel so good, and I know how powerful they are. It is just after 10pm EST here and just after 7pm tonight Mommy put all of our plates down for dinner. I walked into the kitchen with the rest of gang and sat down to wait; Mom looked puzzled but hopeful because for the past few days I would just leave when dinner was served...and so Mommy had to start syringe feeding me (which I do not like at all). Tonight though, she put down my plate and I started eating. Mommy was so happy, I think she did a stupid dance while ran to get the phone. Wouldn't you know that this happened right after Mom came home from the supermarket with a bunch of different foods that had been recommended by the wonderful cats here on Catster. We cannot say that I am out of the woods yet its still a slow road because I am so sick and so thin and little; Mom still uses the Karo syrup trick that Sweet Pea taught her to get me to keep drinking her water(that is yucky too), but hopefully things will keep looking up. Mom thinks and hopes that the syringe feedings helped enough to make me stronger and maybe even stimulated my appetite; my take on it is that I got so ticked off with her poking a syringe into my mouth that I decided that doing it my was just better. Now I have to keep it up or else its her turn. Mom will be talking to my doctor tomorrow. Please keep me in your thoughts still....I still have a long way to go, and the bloodwork is not back yt either. Mommy just wanted me to share the positive news...it is with your help of advice, purrs and prayers that I know I am going to recover. Love, Emma Edited by author Mon Jan 1, '07 7:16pm PST

	Well, I think you all have done it!!! All those purrs have done the trick! My leg is almost healed (even though it's at an odd angle). I'm still in jail but Mom lets me out of jail quite often. As soon as that door opens, I'm out of there! I'm all over the place. I'm moving so fast that mom can't even video me. I'm not using my leg like mom's been hoping, but I still have 3 other legs that get me where I need to go. I've been making up for lost time by seriously attacking the other furbutts in the house (including the dog). I attack quickly and then move on to the next one. No mercy in this house!!! So, thank you all so very much for everything!!! We will never forget the support and encouragement that we've experienced here on Catster! Thank you again!!! Happy New Year to all!
