We were wondering as well if this kitten has had surgery. The condition is really that of a "parasidic twin". Another kitten developed, but the eggs did not totally separate, and this is the result. Meowmy saw a show on the same situtation with a human child. The child was brought to the U.S. for surgery.

Thankfully today that child and this kitten will have surgery so they may live normal lives. In another time they would have been "exhibited as freaks". If any kitty has more news on little Hex please post it.

This is Delyte. It's so sad that this poor little thing had to die because the vet didn't seem to know what to treat him with. Using something that burned a hole in him?!! What a horrible way to die! I hope he is on the Bridge and in whatever state he wants to remain, either separated or together with his incomplete twin. Rest in pice, poor little Hex. little angel

Yes, that is a very sad story. But I'm wondering why they gave the kitten an evil-sounding name like "Hex"? Poor thing, it should at least have had a pretty name. cry

I think the "Hex" came from the Latin meaning "six" (think six-sided shape=hexagon). I really don't think they meant it to be unkind.
