My mom and dad just bought a house in Florida.
I think it's nice; my mom tells me it has a big backyard and a big terrace overlooking the water. I can't wait to go, but I am afraid. My mom and dad plan to drive down so that they can bring all of our stuff in one ride. I have never been in a car for that long. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi Tank. I have been driven from Georgia to Oregon twice. It took 3-4 days. Me & my sister were really scared at first but after an hour or so we would calm down and happily sleep. Mom put a small disposable litter box in the car but we never used it. At night she would find a pet friendly hotel and thats when we would use the box, eat and drink. It was really easy.

Florida is a lot of fun. My mom is from there and says there are lots of big bugs to chase and play with.

Good Luck!

O Tank,I went from IL to FL two years ago in my Dads truck. Be sure to have a carrier and name tags on you and hope you get pet friendly hotels-we did in Georgia. Main thing is to be CAUTIOUS at rest stops, etc. Also I never go outside in FL. Too many new skin fleas, snakes, etc. Don't want to scare you but it is much different than the city and more unknow dangers. I love my screened in porch where I see the wildlife, etc. but don't have to be out among it.
Good luck on your trip.
By the way, I was very noisy in the truck and at the motel--PURRR
