Hey guys! I am getting a new collar because the one I have is rubbing/breaking my neck fur. I found a place that makes really nice soft cat collars but I can't decide what color to get.
Here is the link:

So what color do you think would match me best? I am getting it embroidered too so if you have an idea of a good color color and thread color that go together that would be good.
I was thinking maybe chocolate with pink thread or lavender with black or white thread? All the colors are pretty though.
Chocolate might stay nice longer (not get dirty) but I'm not sure.

Hmm, I really liked the olive & mint. The chocolate and pink is nice, but I wondered if it might be better to get a fur complement color rather than one that blends in?

We have obnoxious collars right now, Hobie's has rubber duckies, Zelda's has little cherry blossoms, and the dog's has Halloween spiders!

Yeah you may be right about it blending in, but I do like the chocolate color a lot! Maybe if I get pink embroidered words it will stand out more?

Hmm...I like color questions. Since you've had professional photos taken, you know about trying to find the right background color for your fur. I think it's related to humans doing their colors. I've found that my torties, oddly enough, look best against a wine red background. The same may be true of brown patched tabbies. I think a color that contrasts with and complements the color of your fur might make the best impression. You can get ideas about the colors people choose as photo backdrops by looking at cat photographer websites--Chanan, Helmi Flick, etc. At today's cat show, Lowell (brown tabby and white) and Leila (tortie and white) will be photographed by Helmi Flick against a "claret" background. A few shows back, Harvard (red tabby) was photographed by Tetsu Yamazaki against a light chocolate background, and it was surprising effective. Whatever you choose, take a picture and post it on your page!

Thanks Lowell! I don't think I've tried anything red with er but I think red might tend to clash with her orange spots. She does look great in pink, and brown-- you can see a few photos of her wearing pink on her page and there are some photos with her pink and brown patterned harness.

The bEst color scheme to stay with when going against orange is cool colors in the blues so for female touches I'd say lilac or purple but I like the idea of mint. Just stay more bluish
