What kind of carpet to use when building a kitty house?

Grendelz Get up and feed- me!     Purred: Mon Jan 22, '07 3:35pm PST  Ok so Mom & Dad finally dicided to build me a kitty house condo thingie. And Mom hads some unused carpet at work she could get for cheap or free. But its that really flat office/appartment carpet, with the really tight loops, kinda like burber. Can she use that or does it have to be straight loopless carpet like the kind on the kitty houses in the stores? I don't know if my claws would get caught on it or not, its really tight loops. Griffey (4/14/97 - 3/15/10) All you need is- love     Purred: Sun Jan 28, '07 4:39pm PST  We have a large cat tree that's covered in berber and even though it looks nice, the berber unravels so mom doesn't recomment it. And though mom trims our claws, mine got a little too long and I got caught on the berber last weekend. Mom was glad that she was home, otherwise she thinks I might have hurt myself trying to get free. We love our cat tree but mom will go with regular carpet the next time around. [notify]
