Those are really nice!

Mommy just ordered me two new collars from another Cat Lady Store on here. She's making me a special pirate one - it's black with skulls, and a leopard one too! It's hard cause I have a small neck, so they are a special order.

We'll post pics of me when they come.

Meows, Morgan. A skull collar? That I must see smile Many of the collar web sites only sell feline collars with the plastic safety buckle. I do not like that type of buckle. It is too uncomfortable and bulky on my neck. I prefer the regular metal buckle thing, like on Human belt buckles or wristwatch. Too bad the collars I like don't come in nice fabrics frown

Here is another web site for nice collars and other pet things: http://www.furrylittlemonsters.com/

Cool Collars! They even have a Skull & Crossbone Cat Collar! Only thing is - are they safety collars? I couldn't tell from the pictures.

Meows, Morgan. It is a regular, non safety collar.

Here is another web site for a velcro saftey collar with a skull and bone fabric: http://www.fantasycollars.com/beastiebands.htm

And a dog collar with the skull and bone:

I know what Merlin means about the plastic safety collars being a bit bulky, but I'm only allowed to wear that type. I go outdoors so my mum and dad like to know for sure I cannot hang myself on anything - if my collar gets caught on anything, it will just break away. Unfortunately we know somebody who's cat got hooked on a tree branch and hung himself as he couldn't get free.
For indoor cats though, it's not as much of an issue.

Wow! Cool ones - I bookmarked the site! The Egyption one would be cool for my brother Max.

We're also only allowed safety collars. Years ago, my Mom's sister had a kitty. She was missing for days, and when they found her, her collar was stuck around her paw. She was hurt badly and almost died. Mom also had a kitty who got her collar stuck in her mouth. Luckily Mom was there when it happened.

Thanks Merlin!

I am an indoor-only cat but I still had a very bad experience with a collar. I got my collar hooked to the mini-blind (don't ask!), and knocked all sorts of stuff over on Meowmy's computer desk while I was trying to free myself. I even turned over the monitor (which luckily didn't break). Meowmy heard all the noise and came and rescued me. The collar was supposed to be safe for cats...it had a expandable piece of elastic. But I couldn't get loose. I was SO scared! And Ducky had his own bad experience...he hooked his collar to a kitchen rug and dragged it into the living room. The human brother freed Ducky. Meowmy bought me (and Ducky) new collars that come apart if you pull on them. So even indoor cats need safety collars!

I won't wear a collar, no matter what. Ever since I was little, my mom has tried to get me to wear them, but every time, no matter how tight she puts it, I manage to get it stuck in my mouth and I freak out and mom has to rescue me. She has quit trying to make me wear them since I'm indoors all the time anyway.
