She's healthy...right?

This forum is for cat lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your cat.

My Slyvy loves the electric blanket, thought I'm a little worried.
Is it normal for her to let out this little moan of (what I assume is) pleasure when she settles down? She only does it on the electric blanket and seems too young for arthritis. She's 5 and still can jump from the floor to the top of a door
She got a clean bill of health 8 months ago

It sounds like she's giving her version of a loud, happy sigh. cloud 9

It couldn't hurt to mention it to her vet at her next checkup, though, just in case.

I think my vet laughs at me. I took her in to get her checked out and she-again-got a clean bill of health.

So, we're going with a happy sigh lol

I too used to call my vet for every funny noise my cat made (though, he has a lot... sighs and whistles and snores). Don't feel bad. smile

I'm pretty sure it was a happy sigh.
