 | |  | | A few weeks ago Athena had surgery for a mole on her neck. (It turned out to be noncancerous, fortunately.) The vet put in a single stitch and said it would dissolve in two weeks or so--no need to bring her in for a return visit. Well, it hasn't dissolved--I can still feel the tiny little piece of (plastic?) thread there. Do we need to be concerned about this? We would like to avoid bringing her to the vet if possible--she always gets so upset. |  |  | |  |
