 | |  | | Yes, I would mention the dark colored urine to the vet. Bring a sample if you can. You can stick a long handled soup ladle under the tail to catch the urine and put it into a small jar or container with lid. Another urine test you can ask for is a cystocensis. This is taking a sterile urine sample directly from the bladder with a needle.
