UTI prevention in male cats

This forum is for cat lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your cat.

Elliot, you really should feed wet food for so many reasons. At 8 months he should be easy to switch over. Switch slowly and try a single brand for a few weeks so it's not too much for his tummy. If you're still seeing diarrhea you can try a little canned pumpkin (not the pie filling, plain pumpkin) or some slippery elm powder to try to settle his digestion. Hope this helps!
