Health insurance for cats?

This forum is for cat lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your cat.

I have no problems with paying for wellness care (exams, vaccinations, etc.), but dental work is a must-have when I shop for vet insurance. Patricia needed it years ago, but I was already paying for Wilbur's allergy shots, d/d canned and dry food, blood tests, and dermatology appointments. Needless to say, the high costs of being Wilbur's mommy caused me to put off dental work too long. Now Patricia is too old to have dental work done.

Of course, I will definitely ask about chronic conditions after all the money I paid for Wilbur, who had a dermatologist. I also will ask about CRF since I lost two cats to the disease.
