Has anyone ever used LiverTone for cats to treat fatty liver?
Looking for answers on how to successfully home treat my kitty, Moo.
We are subcutaneously giving fluids and feeding him with a syringe...he still eats treats. And we are trying new foods to get him to eat on his own again...suggestions welcome!!

Yes, he has been diagnosed with Fatty Liver. We are treating him at home...subcutaneous fluids and syringe feeding 35 - 40mls of food daily. I am also using Alpha Omega LiverTone for cats and was wondering if anyone has ever used it or has any ideas on getting Moo to eat on his own again.

I'm wary about supplement such as this LiverTone stuff shrug Sometimes such products do more harm than good, otherse don't work at all and are a waste of money.

Ask your vet for FortiFlora. It is a nutritional supplement/probiotic that even really sick inappetant cats will eat. You can sprinkle it on top of food.

Thanks I will ask about the probiotic...makes sense to me as we take them after a round of antibiotics.
The LiverTone has dandelion and milk thistle and some other stuff I'm not familiar with.
Have you heard about using fish oil as a supplement for the liver? Just asking as I read this somewhere.
