 | | | | I am wondering if anyone out there has ever dealt with a cat who has huge amounts of blood in their urine, but the vets can find no notable cause? The urine tests came back showing no infection, and no crystals. There was minor cellar debris, but the cause remains unknown. The blood (UTI) isn't responding to antibotics, (we've tried Clindamycin, Cefa-drops, Amoxidrops, Clavamox and Convenia, nothing works.) No noteable (or non-notable trauma for that matter,) has occured. Moki's temp dropped to near shock levels 98.4 on Saturday and he has been having a hard time keeping a normal constant temp since. It's currently 99.2. If Moki's temp drops below 98, his body will start to go into shock and we may lose him.
Anyone have any ideas?
P.S.
To get a better idea of the kind of blood we are talking about, please visit Moki's blog I forewarn you that the pictures of his urine samples might be upseting do to the amount of blood present. With that said, please keep in mind that Moki is still eating, drinking, and acting normal. It is as if he doesn't realize how sick he actually is.Edited by author Mon Nov 17, '08 6:19pm PST
