Hello! What country do you live in? I am just curious. Welcome to Catster!

Now on to your question. If the kitty poops and pees on its own, it almost sounds like trauma only to the spine or else the break or fracture is low enough to only be affecting the legs. If you are committed and the kitty is lively, is eating and drinking, and can poop and pee on its own I see no reason this kitty can't live a good life. And those devices for two legged kitties are quite ingenious. There is at least one kitty I have seen here on catster with one. I have this kitty in my corral and will try to find the catster page and send to you. There is also a sweet kitty named Gabriel I have in my corral whose Mom has been very devoted to updating and he does not have a kitty cart I am aware of.

I do not have a kitty with only two good legs, but I do have a blind kitty. She still does not have her own page yet but my point here is that my blind kitty gives much more to me than I to her. I make sure she is an indoor only kitty and don't let any of the other kitties or doggies get too rough on her. But most people don't realize on just meeting her that she is blind. She is extremely well adjusted.

Having a handicapped kitty can be a challenge but as long as your are committed to their care, otherwise it's really not fair if you don't intend to be in it for the long haul, they can lead normal happy lives.
