shock
I came home one day to a distressed yowling coming from the kitchen. It didn't sound pained so I wasn't too concerned, I thought she just knocked over her bowl and was pissed.

Yea, right

I walk into the kitchen and what do I see but my fearless hunter of all things bug sitting next to her bowl of kibble. She's yowling in upset and a big, fat field mouse is sitting there.

Eating her kibble. Out of her bowl.In front of her.

....can someone explain this? She's an indoor only house cat but...still! She should have some hunting instincts...right?
