This is a place to gain some understanding of cat behavior and to assist people in training their cats and dealing with common behavior problems, regardless of the method(s) used. Keep in mind that you may be receiving advice from other cat owners and lovers...not professionals. If you have a major problem, always seek the advice of a trainer or behaviorist!

Bob sprayed on towels today. =[ I don't know what his problem is! Any advice on how to try to get him to stop? My mom can't take it anymore, but I love Bob too much to get rid of him. *sighs* But it's gross. HELP!

Is Bob neutered?
Is he new to your family or has another cat been recently introduced?
Do all your cats get along together?
Does he see other cats outside and is upset enough to spray "his" territory?
Have you called your vet to ask him/her suggestions?

hmm..i don't think he's neutered, but my mom says he is. lol
He is the one who usually picks on the cats, mainly my cat Tiddels, but other than that everyone's fine.
Yea, I haven't called the vet but i'm going to have to because it's getting out of hand.

When a cat or dog for that matter, urinates inappropriately, you need to have the urine checked for the possibility of a Urinary Tract Infection.
After ruling out infection, then you can work on behavioral problems.
Go to vet first, after that if all is clear...here are some things you can try.
