Pet-Peeves: Anyone but her mom, noises, people in the hallway, change
Favorite Toy: All sorts of toys! Toys!
Favorite Nap Spot: Her cuddle cup (heated bed)
Favorite Food: Lotus wet (grain-free) and Lotus dry
Skills: She has gorgeous calico markings on her striped-tabby coat.
Arrival Story: Hazel was the first kitten in her litter that caught my eye at work. I saw her and decided then and there to get her out of there. Little did I know that she was only one of a litter! When I gave her treats, cats came out of the woodwork and now we have four more!
Bio: She once climbed into our basement ceiling and would not come out for days. We had to trap her. She is named after Hazel Lucy of Catster Fame. She is the most shy and least friendly of the family, but she is very special to us. ** After Hazel Lucy went to Heaven March 16, 2011, my mom and her mom spoke on the phone. On April 22nd, 2011, I moved to Purrsville to live with HL's mom. I miss Gilmore but not the others too much, especially Cas. I have the whole place to myself and pretty soon I won't be "shy Mazie" anymore!
So I'm fine now.
I played all night and trilled and talked and banged things no end and wouldn't let mom sleep one wink! I'm always a bit loopy after sedation. And I have to be sedated for anything. Nail trimming, temp taking, expressing (ugh), ear checking, weighing. Hey! I lost 3/4 of a pound over three months, that's really good. The vet is proud of me!
Today there are big big thunderstorms and lots of rain. The big piles of snow will take days and days to melt.
We're really excited about the partner and hope we'll know something soon!
Meantime I'm gonna go bang on closet doors, why are they closed anyway!!
