Nicknames: Odie, OlyPoly, Ols, Olykins, Oly-Pie! (from my handsome Ambro!)
Badges:
Coloration: Tortie
Likes: I love to sneak attack my brothers and sister. I also love to rough housing with my dogsister Alexis. I also must know what is going on at all times and let everyone know my opinion on the matter!
Pet-Peeves: Not being fed on time, no one to play with and closed doors.
Favorite Toy: I love the laser pointer that mommy teases us with! I could chase it all over the house for hours on end! I also love a good game of soccer and *gasp* playing fetch!
Favorite Nap Spot: I love sleeping on my mommy's lap, or in front of the furnace if it's cold. I also like snuggling with my brothers Petrie and Rico.
Favorite Food: Iams dry food (the Turquoise bag) and 9 Lives canned food for special occasions
Skills: I am a natural conversationalist and can talk for hours. I am also quite skilled at stalking things, such as my dogsister Alexis!
Dwells:
indoors
Arrival Story: Well my mommy worked with the lady that owned my fur-mommy. Since they worked at a medical lab mommy thought it would be cute to name me after something to remind her of where she got me.
So I was named for either the most requested test, or the machine that ran the test, it was called the OLY. It's pronounced "Oh-Lee" and while I'm not sure what it stands for exactly, I rather like it!
Bio: Mommy says I am her beautiful Tortie girl. She loves my pretty fur and how it looks like I was painted with gold.
I can be quite the ham at times, but am really a shy girl around folks I don't know.
I rule the roost around here though. Me and my sister Murph will tie up from time to time but I guess all sisters do that. Most of my brothers have a healthy dose of respect for me as I'm not above setting them straight on things.

Well first of all I'm sure you've all met my bratty new brofur by now.
His name is Calvin and he was named after our wonderful friend Calvin.
You can read about how he came to be with us & get his name on his page if you'd like. mol
The next thing going on is that my secretary is about to be fired! Do you know what she did?!
She let our Catster Plus expire! She swears she *forgot* it was due. So now we have to *wait* until next week sometime before she gets it back for us. *pout* We will be glad to see those ads gone again that's for sure!
And lastly, mom is a bit worried about me. She doesn't think I'm feeling very well.
Me & my brofur Noah have been sneezing & hacking & one v-e-t we go to has told mom in the past that it is not unusual for us to do that when it's the changing of the seasons. So she didn't think too much of it.
But while Noah is acting like he feels better & isn't hacking like he was, I'm doing just the opposite. She spent a few hours trying to find me in the house last night because I hid.
I don't normally hide unless we have company or it's storming etc. She found me under Grandmom's bed & had to lift the bed while Grandmom drug me out.
Then I hid in a cubby hold I've never hid in before so mom let me be for a while. About an hour later she came to pick me up & take me to bed with her to watch tv & when she did she said it felt like I'd gained a ton of weight! She wasn't sure if it was because she'd been picking up the kitten & my womanly girth was just so much heavier or if I've in fact gained weight.
If I have it's not from over eating. She listened to me breathe & she says it's shallow, somewhat fast breaths. So she wonders if maybe I don't have pneumonia or something.
Think is it will have be mid week before she can get me in to see the v-e-t guy. In the past they would let their long time customers charge a portion of their bill until the following week, but they've stopped doing that so it makes it a bit difficult between paychecks.
But she will have me in next week come heck or high water she says.
Once I was in the bed with her I went back to sleep (I do alot of that now) She prayed over me & gave me lots of loving & cuddles & let me rest. Then she was feeding the kitten some soft food & for the first time that day I was interested in food!
So she gave me some a little at a time so I wouldn't be sick from woofing it down. I ate every bit of it too! But I wouldn't drink any water for her.
And now just a few minutes ago I ate some more soft food for her & am laying in a sun puddle.
She is worried about me & the rest of my sibs because we are all (except the kitten) sneezing.
The kitten is doing fine. Mom was worried that maybe the kitten had something & brought it here, but Grandmom reminded her that me & Noah had been sneezing a few days before we got Calvin.
She is still trying to be super careful until we can get him checked out too. That will also be next week.
So if you all wouldn't mind, please send some Purrs & Prayers our way. We could sure use it. Hopefully it's just allergies or something that can be fixed with Clavamox. But with me being a big girl anyway, mom is worried a bit more about me.
Hi everyfur, mom is finally home & has been getting a ton of kissies from us all. She was so tired when she got in last night that she slept better than she has in ages!
Then cousin Tigress called her to tell her that our dear friend Calvin had made his journey to the Bridge. She was heartbroken over the news because we know how much he & his family fought that nasty cancer.
Calvin and his family were always one of the first to offer help when a fellow Catster needed it.
They made us beautiful angel pics & even made some for family furs that were not on Catster or Dogster.
We love Calvin & his family & our hearts & purrs & prayers are with them.
