I am (or was) Cat of the DAY!!

Mama didn't have time to look at my page yesterday (11/30) much since she had an appointment (she's been depressed) but got a notice this morning I was COTD.

Then I got a notice from the "Forget me Not" group I belong to dated yesterday saying I was COTD. So I don't know which day I am or was COTD but I am SO HAPPY!! PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I hope my sweetheart Sable sees this. I've been trying to contact her and she hasn't answered me. If someone has info can you let me know?

OK wanna hear about GAMMA'S KITTENS? They are getting braver and braver. They sleep on Gamma's bed, they don't run away when she is near, etc. so they are definitely getting tame (?) and they're also starting to want affection more. Gamma is doing a grrrreat job of fostering these babies, even tho they're not really babies anymore. MOL

OK I'm going to see if I can get some treats!

I just wanted to say TANK YOU SO MUCH to all of you fur your gifts, treats, rosettes, and paw mails. You sure know how to make a guy kitty feel special.

These last 2 days have been really great fur me....my Gotchaversary yesterday, COTD today...lots of treats and wuvin'....I love being me! MOL!!!

Hi efuryone!

I know it's been a while since you heard from me. Got some news, some good, some bad.

First I will share the BAD news. I heard from Sable at long last and due to some unforeseen circumstances will no longer be able to keep in touch with me. It's a shame because I really love her, and she & I are such a perfect fit, but I understand the situation. (I didn't want to share the details unless Sable says ofurwise.)

So, to my furefur love Sable....I LOVE YOU!

Back to being a swingin' single kitty, MOL!

OH ALSO my Gamma may have Scabies! EEEK!! She has to go fur treatment right away. Purr and/or purray!!! She's a good human who's caring for kitties in need and she deserves our help.

OK want some good news?
Ginger is now NEUTERED.
That's right, I said NEUTERED.
It turns out our Ginger is A BOY! RRRRRroww?
When Gamma brought "him" to the vet, they called and said Ginger is a male. MOL! So now Ginger has to have a new name. Gamma can't decide if she'll call him "Pun'kin" or "Jingles". What do you think?

Well I still need to go bug mama, and now I will see mischief i can cause. Bye fur now.

Christmas Eve update

Well it's almost CHRISTMAS....wow wow wow!!!
Got a brief update on the kitts of Gamma's first.
Turns out the babies Susie had were ALL BOYS. (!!!) :O
When it came time fur the last one to be fixed, "she" was a he! So Ginger is still Ginger (someone said ginger is a spice so he could keep his name), and Daisy is now Danny.
There's what might be bad news too depending on your purrspective. Gamma's been letting out the babies and Susie too. As in OUTSIDE. We don't know if this is good or bad but Gamma figures what has she got to lose since nobody will want grown up kittens. We tried to tell her that they're still adoptable and not to do it but she wouldn't listen. (sigh)

OK and as fur me...well I sleep with mama a lot now! Mama's more relaxed so I feel more at ease.
I wrote a poem fur all of you, hope you like.

Hi efuryone,

I'm sorry I have not been posting. My mama's got the winter blues (she's bipolar) and it's hard - oops should I say IMPOSSIBLE - sometimes to get her to even come ofur here. She transcribes my dictation so how can I get my stuff typed? MOL

Anyway, I haven't got anything very worthwhile to post. I think I did tell you all Susie's kittens are males. She may have had ofur kittens that didn't survive, but the ones that did were all male. At one point, when the weather was milder they wanted to go outside, but now that we have snow and cold they all don't mind being indoors.

Mama also talked about going to see Gamma soon but right now she doesn't have the money to do so. Winter is always hard for us on acct. of higher heating costs.

i was a diary pick???

WOWWWW what a weekend to be picked as a diary pick...mama is not home, she went to visiit Gamma and left me alone locked in my room. Wait til she hears about this!

diary pick today, yay! And some not so good news

Well mama found out I was a diary pick Saturday and now again today! I gotta tell you about my day Sunday.

When she finally let me out of that room I was SO HAPPY. I was the happiest kitty in the whole world, cuz my mama was home again and I sure missed her. I kept snuggling and asking to be petted and loved, cuz I got NUTTIN ofur the weekend and I deserved lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of extra attention. I still do! MOL!

Mama did take Solomon cuz he & I had a small fight again. I thought he was hurting mama so I ran over and attacked him. Mama took my bites on his behalf and even had to go to the dr. cuz of them. She had to get a Tetanus shot. She said I was a bad kitty biting her like that. I'm just doing what comes naturally.

So today I am again a diary pick and this time mama acknowledged it. Only one BIG BIG BIG problem. We have NO PUTER. When mama came home she went to turn on her puter and it didn't come on. :( So then she used her backup laptop and it died during a Windows update. We have anofur (used) one on the way, but this is just awful that we have no puter at home. Mama has to transcribe my entries when she has time on her cell phone. And that keyboard (or is it a thumb-board?) is pretty little. So we will talk to you when we can.

BTW mama saw Gamma's kitties but only briefly. They stay hidden in of all places, under her kitchen sink. Then fur some reason Gamma got upset when mama was going to try and get a look at Ginger, the one kitty of Susie's litter that is furiendly and Gamma said NO. (HISSSSSSS GAMMA!) Gamma said leave them alone. We tried to tell her that these kitties NEED to get used to being around ofur people besides her but she wouldn't listen. To be honest, my furiends, mama and I don't think these kitties are going to be adoptable. They're too scared of humans. They run and hide when people are near. Two out of the three won't let anyone touch them or come near them. Mama saw each one fur A FEW SECONDS. Out of a whole weekend that was it. They immediately ran back under that stupid kitchen sink. Howefur we believe Gamma may have some mild dementia or something because she doesn't comprehend some of the things we say (and not just about kitties). She furgets if someone called her 30 minutes ago, says she does things that she nefur did (or thinks she did or said some things), etc. So Gamma isn't really capable of caring fur these kitties. We're afraid they will probably be returned to the wild, unless we can find a foster mom who can tame them more. But with NOBODY around to help it's impossible. :(

I am back with anofur entry!

I know it's been SO long since you got a diary entry from me, MOL!

You can blame mama partly fur that. Yes we got anofur (used) puter so that wasn't the problem. The problem is mama's depressed and didn't even think to come here and check my paw mails or gift box. So to those of you who sent me stuff, TANK YOU and yell at mama, not me, fur not acknowledging them! I need to get better control of my human!

While I was gone away (from Catster), mama took me and my siblings to Gamma's house. Gamma had hip replacement surgery and needed mama to care fur her, so fur 3 weeks we stayed and helped out. We got along fur the most part...Gamma has young kitties (like 8 or 10 months old) living there and they are lively wild things. I tried to play with them but they ran away. They're partly feral and 2 of the 3 hide from humans and kitties too but love when the Gamma gives them treats.

My brofur was attacked again, but I didn't do it this time. While we were at Gamma's, the mother of the young uns, named Susie, picked on Solomon biting his tail and back. It was so bad he had to have stitches on his tail. THEN during Easter weekend mama smelled a foul odor on Solomon and 1 of his wounds abcessed and got green pus (YUCK) built up. More stitches fur Solly, flushing of the wound, plus a drain to remove any leftover gunk. He's still healing and next Saturday will have all his stitches removed. I feel bad for my brofur, he takes a beating from kitties and I know I have been hard on him too. I still try occasionally but mama makes sure to not let me hurt him.

OK kitties and humans, mama says she wants to go to bed. Bye fur now.

I can't believe it, I just come back and next thing I know I'm DDP!
You folks at Catster sure have good taste. MOL

I didn't mention that during my sorta "vacation" at Gamma's, mama noticed I respond well to the name "Kitty" and she thinks that may have been my name befur she adopted me. What do you think?

We are down to 2...

My sisfur is gone....mama said she had to put her to sleep cuz she was dying...she said she was dehydrated and weighed a little over 4 lbs. (she should weigh 9).

So now me and Solomon are the only 2 kitties in the house. It's too soon to see if we will have a 3rd kitty again, and is completely up to the LORD...but meanwhile me and Solomon will comfurt mama as best we can. I don't have anyone to pick on now! MOL

Please keep my mama in purrayers....this will be a hard day fur her fur years to come....
