My first night here

Last night I got a new home. I'm indoors now and it sure feels nice. Mommy pet me and caressed me all night long, giving me little kisses and words of encouragement. We slept over at Fran's house, in her living room, so I can be separated from the others until I get my shots (and neutered )in the morning. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that I can't eat or drink until later because of the anesthesia. I can't wait to meet my 2 new sisters. I already love my mommy, she has been feeding me outside for awhile now. She told me that I'll never be hungry or lonely again.

I think this is gonna work out just fine.

P.S. Fran gave me my first toy!

Well, it's been almost two weeks.....

And boy o boy does my meowmy love me! She only tells me ten or more times a day! My two sisters are still checking me out, sniffing my tail when they think I don't notice. Isabelle watches almost every move I make, and sometimes when I leave the room she gently smacks my behind. Well, after what I went through on the street, I can certainly deal with that.

It feels so great not to worry anymore. Meowmy is really good with keeping the food flowing, and nice, fresh, very cold water at all times. Plus Greenies and lots and lots of toys. And best of all, a whole lot of love.

When meowmy kisses the top of my head, I lean over and bump into her with my head. She always smiles at this.

I think I'm gonna like it here.

She finally posted my picture!

Meowmy put my pic online so my page is live now - whoo-hoo! She said she has more pictures to add, later on. Just wanted to give a shout-out to my new furriends out there - I am one happy cat to be indoors with a loving mommy and two crazy sisters! The food and the LOVE are endless!

Three new things that made meowmy happy

For the past few days, I have been waking her up around 3 a.m. by bonking her head with mine and purring loudly. She gets really happy with this and rubs me. I feel so content and happy in my new home. Meowmy says thank God for me all the time, of course Jazzy and Isabelle, too.

Also, yesterday was kind of a big deal. I was sleeping under the blue Ikea chair, where I sometimes nap, and Jasmine was napping a few feet away. When she woke up, she came over and started licking the top of my head, and I closed my eyes and enjoyed it. Meowmy was SO,SO happy, smiling and saying "Oh, that is so nice" and all. I think Jazzy is saying she accepts me.

Last thing, this morning before meowmy left the house, she shook the bag of Greenies to let us know it was treat-time.(She also does this to see all of us to say good-bye before she walks out.)Anyway, she put Isabelle's Greenies in the separate bowl, then for me and Jasmine, the double bowl. We all ate our treats side by side. Meowmy says she was waiting for this moment. Again, she is thrilled.

Life is very good indeed. MOL.

Guess what I've been doing lately?

Well, at night when meowmy turns out the lights, I get in her bed and do a few headbonks. Then I circle around her, and lay across her back and hug her. Then, I get up on her back, sniff her ear, and stick my tongue in!!! She starts laughing and makes me stop! Why must I stop?

We're all really sad about Catsy

That kitty finally had a nice home with good humans, a good life, and she went to the Bridge. Also, the poem on Catsy's page about the stray kitty made meowmy think about me, when I was out there, and she cried her eyes out. She kept hugging and kissing me until I finally had enough, I jumped from her arms! I love her and all, but she can be too much with the kisses sometimes! I'm here now, I'm not going anywhere, no matter how many times Isabelle hisses at me.

I have a girlfriend!!!

Her name is Precious and she is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous, the most beautipurr cat on Catster, she is purrfect....

I am SO overjoyed she said she would be my girl. I don't need catnip to feel this way. She makes me feel complete.

Ah, life is good!!! I'm still jumping on my sisfurs, like the other day I was a little too rough with Jazzy, and Isabelle came flying out of the kitchen and gave me a few good smacks! Meowmy told her to stop, said enough, everybody. But they all need to understand that I'm a boy and I tend to get rowdy. And I like to pick on Jasmine. Isabelle really doesn't let me, she hisses like she's saying "back off buddy"!

I love to headbonk meowmy and lay on top of her and bite the book she is reading. The books are better to eat than read, she needs to understand that.
