I'm Guido - The Italian Kitty and I am in Animal Assisted Therapy with the San Francisco SPCA. 2 days a month I visit an adult day care center for folks who are a bit challenged - just not as agile as me the mighty meowster. I wear my AAT vest and I have a pal, Stanley the Guinea Pig who is also an AAT volunteer.

Catster is cool and I'm PURRusing the pages looking for fun feline friends. It wiggles my whiskers to see so many of us enjoying sun rays and great homes.

I've Been Tagged and Your Paws May Be Next

My fantasticat friend Little Bit (oh yes we meowsters of San Francisco bond together) has tagged me and asked me to use my smitten kitten mind to announce:

The 6 things I'm not PURRfectly Pawsatively fond of (yep, you got it, things I don't like):
1- A foggy day in San Fran that hides sun rays.

2- Riding the Cable Car in my meowvalous Mom's backpack as the streets of San Francisco wiz by and make my whiskers wiggle the wrong way.

3- Friends who talk the wrong Italian dialect to me - it's gotta be the right cat chat for this Italian Kitty!

Catzowey I Went To Hollywood!

Dollywood and Bollywood have nothing over Hollywood! Catzowey folks, this is the cat's meow when you set your 4 paws upon Sunset Boulevard at Sunset and at Sunrise too, and then retreat to the luxurious Hotel Palomar to kick back and catnap. Uh huh, it's a cat's life for sure in Hollywood with the abundacat sun rays which are more PURRvalent than the sun rays in my San Fran.

Tune your paws in for the meowvalous update of just what took my 4 mighty meowster paws out of the City By the Bay to Hollywood , land of California Dreaming and Day of the Cat, and let's toss in What's New Pussy Cat! If my smitten kitten ears hear those tunes one more time I may have a hiss fit. My whiskers are wiggling to tell ya where I've been, but ya gotta just catnap and stay tuned for a little while longer - you know maybe a long catnap. Pinch my paws, am I dreaming?

Will You THINK LIKE A CAT on November 15th?

It's show time!

Are you wondering if I taught our game show host Chuck Woolery the art of fantasticat catitude? And if you want to see how 8 cool Catestants compete for a $1 million grand PURRize (meowstah - that's a lot of new litter!), curl up on a family member's lap with some vintage catnip and catomille tea and tune in to enjoy the Meow Mix Think Like A Cat show. I can let a little cat out of the bag: it was a fantasticat time and me and my paws went to Hollywood - kind of like California Dreamin' and I could be a Million Dollar Baby too! Catzowey!!!

The show PURRmiers Saturday November 15th at 9:30pm ET on the Game Show Network (GSN). So don't catnap and miss it - I need my Catster pals to pawsatively cheer me on!

Am I A Catzillionaire?

Absoluticatically I am a Catzillioniare! I didn't win the $ 1 million on Think Like A Cat, but nobody did and I'm rich in furiends which in my kitty catulations ads up to way way way more than $ 1 million in green stuff (besides I'm a cat and I don't have a bank account so what would I do with all that green money?). So, what's an Italian Kitty to do now? Catnap and play with my Catster pals! Woo hoo and you have all kept me going the past months with meowvalous words of supuurt and gifts galore, and my smitten kitten self cannot begin to say Mille Grazie (yep that's EyeTaleeyun) and thanks to your humans too fur letting ya be the best furiends an Italian kitty ever had!

I decked out on Saturday night and my best furiend Skeezix loaned me his tuxedo tie cuz my customized kitty couture tie got lost in customs en route from Italy cuz AliTALEyah airlines is on strike. Wanna see our pawty photos - here you go!

The surprise of the evening was definicatically NOT the none pawsative end of the game show (what cat treks down a race track when disco lights are fluttering above and auto cameras zipping by on little tracks -isn't that more exciting than a can of meowmix!!?) . I was mewsmerized by it all.
My best show night surprise was sharing pasta ala catnip with Ted Rheingold, the Tom Cat of Catster and Big Dog of Dogster who joined me and my furiends for the celebration. And Tailer's Dad, Anders fresh off the plane from Sweden showed up too (without any Swedish herring to nosh on). We didn't exacticatically have a smorgasbord but we wined and dined on an abundacat Italian feast.

Leftovers On FUReyeday After Turkey Feast Day

Who doesn't adoracat a turkey leftover the day after Thanksgiving! It's the Cat's Meow but nothing like having it furesh on Thursday. Absoluticatically we mighty meowsters should not catnap on Thanksgiving Day, but should purrfectly plan our day and manage to spend abundacat time UNDER the Thanksgiving table as it's inevitable that some human will drop tidbits of goodies - they say "ohhh it slipped off my fork" or the West Coast folks scream "oh my gosh my golly I think we just had an earthquake that jolted the food off the table"! Uh huh - oh sure! Great excuses for we meowsters who huddle under their ankles lying in wait for the tidbits to drop. PURRaise the lord these people are not neat and tidy!

So while you're PURRusing your dining situation for this Thanksgiving Day - a blessed event and a food-o-ganza fur sure, will you vote for my momma cat? Yep, my Baci who has tolerated me for 2 years and taught me my smitten kitten manners, is a finalist at 13 yrs of age - yep she's in the FUNNY FACE CATegory - so please toss her a pawsative vote - the Olde Orange Furt deserves it - I give her my GUIDO 4 Paws UP life achievement award!

Well Jingle My Italian Bells

Catzowey! It's the 2nd week of December and I'm busy making my list and checking it twice, and I assure you that I'm never meowster naughty but always fantasticatically nice. Tis the season to be jolly (please don't eat the Holly!) and dreams of sugar coated mice are dancing big time in my head while I slumber away in my "made in Italy" sleigh bed.

Gingerbread houses are popping up here and there, but hard for a kitty to fit into, so I kickback and just stare. Santa Paws is busy up north so they say, I think he's got a herd of mice working for minimum wage pay.

You deck the halls and just give me my catnip balls! Oh Holy meow, the star is brightly shining, but I'd much rather be sitting as the centerpiece wondering when we're dining.

We can rock around the Christmas tree and hang our stockings too, but if I don't get my catnap I'll be turning blue Christmas in front of you.

Frosty the snow dude is a jolly old soul they say, but here in sunny California he'd be melting away. So it's on Dancer and Vixen and Rudy too, honestly I don't know the others names, haven't got a clue!

My Italian stocking is hung and it's catzowey galore - gotta wait till the 25th to get it down on the floor.
