Dear Diary:
Mommies got a new "boy" in her life. Something called a grandson . If you ask me, I think it's a bunch of hogwash. Let me tell you what happened....
Apparently she's been takin' A LOT of pictures of him. Don't know cuz it ain't been happin' here!
She came home with another thing called a scrap book. Seems you glue all the dang pictures into this thing and then put a bunch of doo daddy things around the pictures. GLUE!!!!!!!! How in the name of God's green kitty world am I going to be able to get those pictures out of there?
When I went over to check it out, she shooed me away! ME, her loverboy. You remember me, I'm "the one."
WELL
Now she works on this dag gum thing upstairs {it's some place that's above our heads} and my chances of getting at it are, ohhh I don't know,
ZERO!!!!!

When you and your siblings came into the shelter I was soooo excited. I had always wanted an orange cat with six toes. You unfortunately did not have that extra toe but the minute I saw you it was love at first sight! I knew you were "the one." Not one day has gone by that you haven't been.
Your love and devotion surpass anything I could have ever hoped for. You are the perfect cat. We have been thru some hard times together but we always knew if we had each other everything would be all right.

Dear Diary:
Today I hit the mother load!!!!!!! The humans that live in this house keep their photo albums on a shelf in our room.
Well, I squeezed myself down flat and was able to get behind the albums. BIG BUCKS, NO WAMMIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There were a whole mess of envelopes with guess what in them.....Yup, PICTURES!!!! Be still my pounding little kitty heart.
I went to town! Unfortunately in my excitement over such a good find, I took one out to remind myself of what a great day I'd had!
Mommy came home from work and found it and my stash....BOY WAS SHE MAD! She had to go and apologize to her friends. Luckily they're nice people and they didn't kick us out.
This was definately a purrific day for me!

My furend Pumpkin and I were meowing yesterday about his new brofur Sir Elton John. I asked him if he knew my other furend Sir Sonny Bono. Thought it might be nice if they got together and did a duet! Seems they are related!!!!!!
Apparently there will be a "concert in the park" today!
I wanna go, I wanna go!!!!!!!

Dear Diary:
Tonight I climbed up onto mommies chest even though THE BRAT Prissy was already in her lap. I put my nose up against her nose, my lips on her lips, my paw on her cheek, closed my eyes and started purrrrrrrrrring.
She said it was sooooooooo nice to have me back! She said that she was sorry that my nose got bent out of shape last week cuz she wasn't home very much.
What is she talking about? Last time I looked my nose is the same shape it's always been! Far as I know you can't bend your nose......You can wiggle it but bend it? I think she's gone crackers! Maybe she worked TOO hard last week.......
Hope this insanity doesn't last very long. Next thing you know she'll be telling me my head isn't on straight.........
Well, I gotta go. I need to check on her and make sure she's not delirious and has a fever.

Dear Diary:
Mommy lit some candles today. I went over and sat in front of one. Candles have something called flames and they are so kool. Mommy says they're hot. MOL I made a funny.....As I sat there I saw all these colors. Blue, yellow,orange (like me), purple and red. It was soooo purrty. Flames dance around too. They flicker to the right, they flicker to the left, they go up and down. How awesome is that?
I stuck my nose close to it to see if it smelled as purrty as it looked. It did! Now to try batting my paw at it.......Opppppps, maybe I don't want to do that. Seems mommy was telling the truth. It's HOT!!!!!
Okay, lesson learned. Candles are to look at, not to play with.

Dear Diary:
As some of you know, on Sunday there was a gageation pawty for the girl upstairs. Lots of people were here and mommie even brought us down a little bit of the food as a treat! She's the best.
Mommie had to spend some time up there cuz her boy, his wife and the grandson were there. Apparently he's for real......Mommie brought him down to meet us and boy is he cute!
I was glad she did cuz up til now all we've seen of him are pictures. You know, the ones that are GLUED into the scrapbook! I was beginning to think that she was going out and taking pictures of some baby off the street and trying to pass him off as "the grandson." I'm glad to know she's not living some fantasy life....
She also went shopping yesterday and came home with another scrapbook. It's for us. She's gonna put all our purrrty pictures in it. It has a BIG red ladybug on the front.
Big problem though....These pictures will be glued into this book too! I think mom has found a way to keep me out of her pictures. Oh bother!

Here's how to play the game. It's summer time and there are lots of things to do during this time of year. We would wuv to hear what you like to do during the summer. List 5 things you like to do and then tag 5 furiends!
The things I like to do in the summer are.......
1. Stick my nose into the flowers mommie brings in and take deep breaths. They smell so good!
2. I luv when mommie keeps the window open! This way I can see the dumb squirrel better and hear all the summer time noises!
3. In the late afternoon, I like to lay in the high up window cuz the sun comes in there. Summer sun feels different than winter sun!
4. I like it when the occasional bug comes into our room! I jump around, do back flips, spring off the bed, crash into things and generally make myself look like an idiot! Gotta git that bug......
5. The last thing I like to do in the summer is move. This summer anyway! Mommie says that we will be moving to our own place sometime this summer! Yipeeeeee!!!!!!!! I can't wait.

What is all this fuss about moving? Moving smoving who cares? I'm happy where ever I am just as long as mommie is there.
Teddy's happy cuz he won't have to be locked up in a room anymore. Prissy's happy cuz she tinks we won't bother her anymore. Tao's happy cuz he'll have more room to reek havock. Me, I'm happy cuz I'm goin' wiff mommie.
So, I'm sure I will like the long hallway and the screened in porch and a window wiff a bird feeder in it again, but none of that really matters. Only mommie matters!

Dear Diary:
Well, here we are in our new place. The car ride down was longggggg but mommie said that I was a VERY good boy! I stayed quit most of the way and every once in a while I'd say "mow, mow" (that's what I call mommie) just to make sure she was still awake.
This place is pretty kool! There's lots of windows, especially on the porch and a lot more room to roam! It was a lot better the first two days cuz the place was empty and we ran around like there was no tomorrow. Then yesterday all our stuff came and cluttered up the place! That's OK though cuz now there's lots of open boxes to investigate and that's keepin me purrty busy......
Mommie starts working wiff the cats on Sunday and I know she's excited. She seems a lot happier now and not so stressed out! I know this is good.
Apparently everyone in this building has cats! This could be interesting. Maybe I'll get to meet some of them and make some new furiends.....
Well, I need to get back to work helping mommie go thru the boxes. I'll write again soon.

Yesterday my bestest furiend in the whole wide world, Sonny Bono, was chosen CAT OF THE WEEK!
I don't know how many of you know Sonny but he is one kool dude! He has a good sense of humor, pops a catweiser every once in a while, smokes cubans, knows Hugh Heffner and Dog the Bounty Hunter and drives a hummer. Sonny is proficient in cat fooey and has a badge from Dog. He even has a body guard named Atlas who is one BIG dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His girlfuriends name is Mustang Sally and she is one pawsome lady in her own right.
I know Sonny would luv it if you stopped by his page to catgratulate him.

1) What is your favorite Olympic sport? - Gymnastics! I luvs to jump and twist and turn and walk on a balance beam!
2) What do you prefer, summer or winter? Summer. Mommie opens up all the windows in the summer time. I luvs to sit in the window and watch everyting goin by and hear all the sounds!

Dear Diary:
I too am waitin on a pawkage just like my sisfur Prissy. We however are not sittin in the same window waitin on the mailman. NO, that would be disasterous! I am lookin fur our new kittie condo!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mommie ordered it a few days ago and I don't know how long it's supposed to take but already it's been too long! See, me and Prissy used to have one when we lived in our other house in GA. We had to leave it behind when mommie moved out. I LUVED that ting! It's been two years since we've had one and poor Tao & Teddy don't even know what it is!
Mommie said she got a super duper one this time. It's 77" high, has 13 levels, stairs, 2 condos and 3 platforms that are way up high at the top! Man, Tao will like those platforms!
So, hurry up Mr. Mailman. I'm tryin to be patient but I'm startin to tap my toes here waitin on you!

Dear Diary:
Yesterday I sat by the window and waited fur the mailman to come wiff the kittie condo. He pulled up in front of the mailboxes and put some letters in but no box. My heart sank. When was this ting gonna come?
I had a pawty to go to fur my bestest furend Sir Sonny Bono. During the pawty there was a knock at the door. I ran to unlock it and told the person to come in. As I ran back to the pawty, a small furless voice on the other side of the door said "I can't." So I ran back and opened the door. There taking up the whole doorway was this BIG box. Oh be still my little kittie heart! It was the kittie condo! But how did it git there? The mailman didn't bring it I know that. Mommie explained it came UPS. I don't know what that is and I don't care. It's here and that's all that matters!
After the pawty mommie drug the box onto the porch and she took everyting out. She started to put it together but about haff way thru I couldn't wait any longer. I jumped up on it and started pawlaying around. It was great the way it was and I couldn't believe there was more to it! When it was done, it was this giagantic tower! We all climbed up on it and haven't left since. We didn't even sleep wiff mommie last nite!
Tanks mommie! This is the best "just cuz" present I've ever gotten!

((((Singin)))) Blue sky's, sunshine, what a day to take a walk in the park.......... That's the song that my sisfurs boyfurend Mikey has pawlayin in his room. It's purrty catchy actually! Anyways, I'm sittin up here on one of the platforms of my tower, lookin out the open window, singin away! It's sooooooo purrty out today and I'm just cat chillin.
All my furends are busy today. Percy, he's new here and I know him in real life, had to go to the groomers. He got lost fur a couple of days and when he came home he was a MESS!
Chelsea is busy dreamin of her ark that she's gonna sail around and pick all her furends up in!
Calamity, Henry, Calia and Romeo are busy moving. Pawackin is a very hard job!
Rusty is busy pawlanin his escape from the house!
Fuzz, Mouse and Sushi are helpin their mommie wiff her work.
And Sonn is nowhere to be found!

Today one of my VERY bestest furends, Fuzz got DDP! Me and my brofurs and sisfur haff been runnin around the house meowin yipeeeeeeeeee!
In our pawlay area there is a frame wiff me and my free bestest furends in the whole wide world in it. Now two of them are famous! Imagine that, I haff pictures on my wall of famous kitties! Too kool!

Mommie and I just read a very heart breakin diary. A little 6 month old doggie named Casper is in desperate need of heart surgery. He HAS to haff it in the next couple of weeks.

Aarrgghh!
Me, my brofurs, sisfur and furends haff been on some pirate adventures the last few days! Oh what fun we've had!
On our last adventure Moon and Bean brought some grog *milk* and Anna brought 99 bottles of grog! Mumtatz brought a bag full of catnip!
Keller suggested that we have some furless ones walk the plank. That's was fun! We all cheered and carried on!
We haff been plunderin and pillagin and collectin lots of bootie.
Prissy's pirate Mikey has suggested that our next adventure should be to loot the food pantry. This sounds good to me!
Shiver me timbers mateys off to the see what bootie we can find in there!

Good news. We found the pirate's map to the food pantry in Smudge's room! Seems he'd wallpapered his room wiff it but was holdin out on us!
We plundered and pillaged thru the food pantry fur hours and came up wiff enough loot to keep us gowin fur at least another month! Ayi, dese humans likes to keep dem pantries stocked!
We had a wee bit of a problem on dis adventure. Angel Cleo was up in arms cuz it seems dat the wenches Muppet and Stormy was determined to walk da plank. *must haff had too much milk grog* Chico and Grey had to rescue dem from becomin victums of da high seas!
Wait matey's, I just been handed a scroll................It reads. Been talkin to the fair wench Reanan. Seems Catster took a baff and the pirates came in and stole some of me furends! Dey been catnaped! We needs to go rescue dem!

Ahoy Mateys!
Arrrrrr, I believe we haff found all of Tao's furends. Me tinks dis was the most dangerous adventure of all. Me pirate furends and I had to venture into sumptin called syber space..............Fur dis we needed lots of loot as we had to make the ship invisable and we needed ransom money.
RueRue showed us where der was a rainbow wiff a pot of gold at the end of it. Reanan gathered all her gold in a bag fur ransom money if needed and Patches plundered tru her mommies purse and stole the check book. *leave it to the wenches to come up wiff the moola*
So, off we went to find Tao's furends. Blow me down, if anyfur tries to give us trouble, we will makes dem walks de plank!
We paid the angel pirates to sprinkle our ship wiff disappearin dust. All of a sudden we was floatin around in a black hole. Dis was mighty scarey fur a pirate!
When we comes out on de other side, der was all of his furends! Dey didn't looks happy. Shiver me timbers, der's why..............der were3 pirate ships wiff rogue pirates in em! We didn't wants to make any trouble cuz we is good pirates so we paid dem de ransom money and took our furends on board. Tao was so happy he was jumpin up and down! *some pirate he is*
We broughts dem home and puts dem back in our corral where we hopes dey will be safe and sound!
Tomorrow our Pirate Ship turns back into The Command Center. We sure did haff fun pawlayin pirate wiff all of you!
