I'm a brat. So what?

I didn't feel good and they were mean to me.

My mom could tell I wasn't feeling well. I wasn't eating much and slept all the time. Also she could see my third eyelid.....

So here I was, sick, and she sticks me in the PTU and takes me to the V-E-T. Mom adopted me from this V-E-Ts office so I wasn't scared. When I was there, I could run all over the place when they were closed and everyone loved me. Well, they forgot who I was 'cause mom changed my name. They took blood out of my leg and took my temp from *back there*. Dr. said other than a little fever, he didn't know what it was. Mom saw me with something in my mouth the day before, but I ate it before she could get it away from me. (lizard?) Mom wanted x-rays :-O They tied me down on a cold table. I made them work for this. The x-ray showed a big (orange sized) black area in my intestines! Dr. said it was air that wouldn't pass so I had to stay there overnight to get fluids. And this is where all hell breaks loose. I know these humans. They were hurting me! So I bit them. And I used my very sharp claws on them. One human even had to go home. One down, lots more to go. To punish me they put bandages on all 4 of my feet, even after they trimmed my nails. So all I could do was bite. And you know what? They put one of those stupid cone collars on me and then I couldn't even bite. All that was left was to yell at them and bang against the stupid cage door. Next thing I know, they've hung a towel over the door so I can't see them..... mean, mean, mean.

When mom came to visit me the next day she couldn't believe what I had done. When she opened the
cage, I was nice to her - although I did grumble some. Then she LEFT me there. I know. The Dr. wanted to do another x-ray. This time they gave me something in my fluids that made me sleep. I don't even remember it. Mom took me home after that. Guess what it was? It was a * s l o w*, $500.00 fart. I'm fine now :-)
