indoors Arrival Story: After the last of our former cats had gone to the Rainbow Bridge, Ron wanted to give me two kittens for my birthday in September 2006. A few weeks before that we had held Bastet in the pet shelter, where she had arrived with her 3 (red!) brothers without their mother. She was gray and very little. We decided to adopt her! Bio: Bastet is named after the Egyptian cat goddess Bast, a protectress of cats and those who care for cats.
