Something's Fishy??????

We are lucky babies today. Our Grammy had left over Salmon Fillets and we all got one. Boy was it good. We even had our regular Friskies Chicken and Gravy. This was a great treat. I love Grammy.

After dinner we heard this noisy! Somehow Tater Tot fell behind Grammys cupboard in the living room. Best we can figure out is someone chased him and he got on top and fell. He's not hurt. The cupboard is cornered and Pappy had to move the cupboard so Tater could get out. He was so embarrassed! Now that the excitement is over, I am going to lay down and rest my belly like the rest of group is. This is the quitest we have been in a while. Salmon must agree with us. Have a wonderful day!

The Fireworks have already started. We saw some last night from our house. Gettysburg, PA is having a Civil Was Reenactment and they had fireworks last night. The skies were so clear! Hope they continue staying clear, we can sit in our front yard and enjoy fireworks from many towns all along the mountains. It's great-no worry about parking!
Well I'm going back to my bed and take an afternoon cat-nap.

Boom, Bang, What a Day!!!!!!

Happy 4th of July to everyone! We have had a wonderful day! For breakfast we had Kibbles favorite TURKEY! Than Grammy and Meowmy went back to the daylily place. They came back with more flowers....... Than Pappy and Meowmy went away and, We Got a new toy. It's a ball with feathers on it and it's make a chirping sound when you touch it. Most of us like it, but I simply love it. I have played off and on with it all day long. For dinner we had Fancy Feast Salmon, but the humans had grilled BBQ shrimp. Yummy! We got some of them too. Now that it's evening and the noise is starting up again Grammy went in the garden and got us all some fresh picked Catnip!!!!!! Most of us are stoned on nip, so maybe the noise won't bother us a much tonight!!!!!!
I want to Thank Chef Rooster for suggesting a calming collar for Cleopatra. So Far it is working. Hope it helps calm her and the others down when they are around her. Maybe they won't pick on her as much and she won't deposit her liquid gold just anywhere!
Well the fireworks will be starting soon so Grammy is going to sign me off. Have a great evening!

Purrs Needed and Thank you

Last evening Grammy and Meowmy had to run Zelda (Little LuLu) to the emergency vets. She was throwing up blood and had blood in her bowel movement. They think she has a blockage of some sort. We did find Sisal pieces in her throw up and told the vets we found one of their sisal's ball toys was pulled apart. So they are leaving that way. Zelda is the smallest of PJ's last litter, so being so small worries everyone. She was very dehydrated and had to have fluids. We had to pick her up this morning and run her to her vets. Our vet is keeping her and may have to operate. We will know more later today. Would you please Purr for Zelda that everything will be ok. Thank you and have a great day. Zeldas ID#925123

Update on Zelda

The vet just called to update us on little Zelda. Things are looking a bit better. The barium they gave her has gone through to her colon. This is good. They are keeping her overnight and will recheck her in the morning. They think she may pass it and not have to undergo surgery. We are purring for that.

Sat morning update on Zelda!

We called the vet to see how Zelda is doing and if she can come home. She is doing better and no she can't come home yet! Poor baby all by herself in a strange place. They said her stomach and bowel areas feel better and they are going to take her off the antibiotic shots and try the pills. If she keeps the pills down today and tonight they will probably let her come home tomorrow. Our vet doesn't usually have Sunday hours but he is going to be checking on her and will let us pick her up if everything is ok. We sure hope she can come home tomorrow. Everyfurry here misses her. They don't know what to do, they just keep walking around and are sort of droopy. Thank you for the Purrs and please continue purring for our Zelda.

Zelda is Home!

Happy Day our Zelda (Little LuLu) is finally home. Everyfurry is so Happy. They are all dancing around her. Zelda is on a special food for a few days, and she is to be quarantined for a few days so she can rest and they don't eat her food. Other than that she is alright. The quarantine doesn't seem to be working as Zelda gets more upset without her family. So she gets some out time. MOL!
Our family would like to Thank you All for your Purrs, Prayers, words of comfort, zealies and pmails. We appreciate every one of them. We love our family of friends. Thank you all from our hearts.

It's All A Dream!!!!

Today I would like to introduce you all to my good friend. His name is Tigger (ID# 990900 )and he is a member and Chef at the Group "Calling All Chefs". He has a recipe that our family just loves. We think you might also. It has a cute story to go with it also. Please read how this recipe came about, as told by Tigger The Cat.

(Our Dad had a cold earlier this week & craved comfort food,so he made chicken salad. From his cold-fevered dreams he came up with this recipe,which he related to me & we will try this weekend.)

GRILLED CHICKEN & BACON SALAD*** 4 Grilled Chicken breasts(or equivalent grilled chicken pieces that you have),diced***6 strips of cooked bacon,crumbled***1 onion,diced***3 stalks of Celery,diced***1/2 Sweet Pepper(your choice of color),diced***Mayo or Salad Dressing (enough to coat)***3 Tablespoons of Buttermilk Ranch Dressing***1 tablespoon of Bleu Cheese dressing*** A few grinds of fresh black pepper***Combine ingredients in bowl,cover,refrigerate & let the ingredients combine for a few hours***serve as sandwiches(we like whole wheat bread) & enjoy! You can up or lower the dressings & Mayo to taste.You might grill the onions & peppers,too! Sounds good for a Fever Dream!

Catnip, Butterflies, Bugs, and More!

Last evening I got to take a walk and a stroll around the yard. It was a beautiful evening, temps just right. Grammy walked me all around the yard. We saw the fishes in the pond, lots of butterflies, hop-a-roos (grasshoppers), and bugs. I could smell the chipmunks, but couldn't find any. They must have smelled Kibbles and me. I got to roll around and eat as much cat nip as I wanted. We have several plants in different areas. How great! Nip heaven! After Kibbles and I played and got our walks, we got to go out front. Kibbles sat on the front porch, while I took a stroller ride around the front yard. I looked around for Trouble (she was the neighbors dog last year), But Grammy said Trouble doesn't live there anymore. She moved. I kept looking for her. Than I got out of the stroller and got in the flower bed and tried to find the chippies. I could smell them, but I couldn't find them........so I went back to the front with Kibbles. We got to see a few cars and trucks go by but not many. Than it was time to go in. I was good, but Kibbles threw a fit. I never saw him throw a fit. He growled like a dog.
