My birthday!

Today is my "birthday". We don't know my real birthday, but today works just fine! We still don't know how old I am either. Mommy and Daddy think I'm turning 10 or 11 years old, instead of 8 today. That makes me the oldest one in the house! Mommy and Daddy are sleeping so I don't know what they have in store for me today. I know mommy already apologized because she can't make me a birthday picture like she did for Chewy, Skye, and Pretty Girl. Daddy got our computer updated and now our photoshop isn't working. Thats ok though. It actually might be for the best because i bet mommy was planning on photoshopping me with a cane or walker. MOL!

A call to my past

Mommy and Daddy just realized this morning that they think I might be 10 or even 11 years old and not 8! They are going to have to call my adoption place and see if they still have my records. The original animal rescue that took me in shipped me to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary shortly after for medical care and serious TLC for 6 months. Mommy's not sure when I picked up the name "Lucky" so who knows what my medical records are under at Best Friends, but that would be the best way to find out how old I am. But Mommy and Daddy remember first meeting me back when they were in high school. It makes sense because I started loosing my teeth early. My vet at the time told Mommy that if she had to guess my age, they would say 9 or 10 years old, but that didn't match up with some of my records so we thought I just had bad teeth. But Mommy and Daddy wonder if some of these records aren't accurate because everyone just guesses my age. The best way to track down my real age would be to find my earliest records. Now mommy and daddy joke that I might be from the 90's!

I'm a winner in the Cat's Meow Halloween Costume Contest!

My brother Charlie, sister Chewy, and I were winners in the Halloween Costume Contest! I was a skunk. It's a costume that mom bought a few years back. Everyone liked my picture and said it made them laugh. It looked like I was "spraying" the pumpkins, yuck! There were alot of great costumes in the Halloween Parade so we are honored to be winners. We enjoyed seeing everyones costumes. Congrats to the other winners and finalists!
