~ Oh boy ~

Guess what Meowmy bought for ME today? She got ME a Boogie Mat. This is MY second one. AND ya know what? My brofur and sisfurs thought that this was for them. Pfffft. I showed them! I somehow mangaged to get both of the Boogie Mats at the same time. My furmily stood around jealously over MY new pawsent. Out of the kindness of my heart, I finally allowed Mojo to join me. I kept the others at bay, however. Meowmy snapped a few shots of this and will post some later on. AFTER I tired of the Boogie Mat, I allowed my furmily to check it out. How dare they think it was meowmy's intent to allow them to use MY Boogie Mat. Don't they know that effurything in our home is MINE? Really!!! Guess I will just have to set them straight. I have tried many times to set them straight on many matters. My, they have hard furry heads.

In my furmily, I am known as the "enforcer". Should any disagreement occur, I have made it my business to settle matters. One time meowmy was involved in a situation. It seems that when Clawdette first arrived in our home, she was a most curious young lass. While I was not pleased to have her in the beginning, I had begun to like her. *he says with a smirk* One night, she began to scream and I mean hysterical screaming. Never have I ever heard anything like that! Meowmy rushed into the kitchen where all the screaming was coming from with me close behind. It seems that little miss NOSEY had somehow gotten her neck caught between the rungs in the back of one of the chairs and was dangling and putting up quite a struggle and fuss. Meowmy went to try to get Clawdette out and Clawdette began to growl in an unpleasant way and was still screaming... a blood curdling screaml, mind you... and I thought she was trying to get MY MEOWMY! NO WAY was that effur going to happen! I immediately jumped to bite the distressed Clawdette just as Meowmy was reaching to relieve the situation. Guess who I chomped? *he says with a blush* Yes, that would be Meowmy. Blood poured immediately from her arm as I gave her quite a puncture wound. My intent was to protect my meowmy and instead I had actually hurt her. *he says with sad eyes* Meowmy could not tend to herself because Clawdette was getting worse and really in a kitty panic. So Meowmy laid the chair on the floor with Clawdette's body on the floor, also. And I sprung again. No way was the new kid on the block going to hurt my meowmy. Guess what?? I got Meowmy again, this time closer to her elbow. About that time Clawdette freed herself. Off ran Clawdette and Meowmy, who was dripping red stuff all the way to the bathroom. And would you believe I got scolded for doing MY job? Meowmy ended up on antibiotics for 10 days. Meowmy should have let me take care of things in the first place. That IS my job around here.

Meowmy posted three new pictures of my new Boogie Mat and me. You will see why I love it. My brofur and sisfurs are still bugging me to share but I am not really ready to let them go... just yet. I have had a ball playing with my new mat and my old one. I just don't understand why my siblings want to take away my time on the mats, do you?

~ I got into big trouble this morning ~

Lately, I have been getting pretty bossy with my siblings. I am just trying to show them what an alpha cat I can be. Meowmy tells me that I am feeling my oats on these days. Well, my meowmy was in the computer room, but then, when isn't she? And my paw was in the front part of the house preparing a package for one of the grandchildren they have. So, this gave me my opportunity to boss Prince around. He took great exception with my cattitude and then it began. The growls and hissing began and suddenly both my pawrents came running. I knew I was in trouble because I had Prince on the run. So, I did what effury alpha cat would. I decided to turn around and looked straight at my mom and hissed at her. UH OH! I found out that this is a definite NO NO! She had the nerve to yell at me for having a lapse of memory. After all, I will be 10 in August. Give me a little slack please MOM.... Really! She ignored Prince (the whiny baby) and began to lecture me. She had the nerve to tell me that she was not afraid of me in the least *will have to fix this problem in the future* and that she would wind my watch. Hee hee... she must not know that I don't have a watch! Right now, I am in her lap being the purrfect angel and sleeping. I had to be sure that my mom still loved me after that big lecture and whiny Prince is on the computer table between the moniter and keyboard. If only Mom wasn't so close.... I would show him a thing or two but for now I am playing angel boy.

Then their apartment complex found out about me and made them get rid of me so my human sisfur asked my meowmy if I could come and live with them in Matthews.

4. Probably nowhere else unless my pawrents move - not likely.

~ I am a wreck ~

My meowmy is on my bad list today. Do you know what she did? Well, this morning after our breakfast, she made a phone call. I did not pay any attention to it. Maybe next time I should. The next thing I knew was that I heard Callista screaming and wondered what was going on. It did not take long to find out. Meowmy came into the kitchen where I was enjoying the morning sun and picked me up. *how nice, she is going to love me* My thoughts were NOT correct. She took me into the front of the house in the hallway and I heard Callista's pitiful meows coming from the "cage". OH NO! Not that! Yep, it was that. Meowmy put me in the prison cage and outside we all went. I knew what was coming. I was heading to the doc doc... OH NO! Not the doc doc. Yes... that is where we wound up. Callista was the first to be taken out. OH NO, they are giving her a shot. Surely that won't happen to me! Then, they put Callista back in the prison cage and pulled me out... with much protesting from me. The doc doc turned me effury way but loose. She told my meowmy that my eye was a little red and meowmy told her it always was. But she put some ointment in my eye and told my meowmy to do it three times a day. YUK! Then, the tech grabbed me and held my head tightly and then the doc doc forced this liquid stuff down my nose. DOUBLE YUK. Are they trying to drown me? The doc doc said I might sneeze a lot but it would be okay as long as it doesn't get color. Yeah, easy for her to say. I get this Bordatella once effury year and never have nor effur will like it. The doc doc told meowmy to put me on sensitive stomach food for a while to see if that will help my minor problems. I don't know if I will like the new food. It has been a bad day and I am worn out.

~ Tux understands my pain ~

Shhh! I got a piece of cheese from Clawdette's boyfuriend Tux today. He understands my eye problem and my bad day. Tux told me not to tell my meowmy about the cheese and to sneak it when she wasn't looking. I really like Tux already! I can tell we are going to be good furiends! Tux has eye allergies and has to have stuff put in his eyes effury week. OH NO! Don't tell me that I will have to do that too! YIKES! Well, Tux and I will have a lot in common, I can tell! Thanks, Tux.

Meowmy is putting this yucky ointment in my eyes three times a day. I run to hide when I see her get the tube. Unfortunately, she always finds me. Pffffftttt.

~ I went on a picnic yesterday ~

Yesterday was so wonderpurr. I went on a picnic with a furry nice young girl around Catster. We had a furry nice time and want to do it again furry soon. We had some yummy treats and got to chase some of the geese at the lake. It was really loads of fun. We got to fly kites, too. It was a little windy late in the day. Oh, I do hope she will go out with me again.

Calamity and I are engaged!

My furry special girl Calamity said YES! I proposed today and she has accepted my proposal. She has made me the happiest kitty on Catster. She is so purrty and sweet. I can hardly contain myself with the joy she has given me by accepting my proposal and saying she will be my bride.

Calamity and I went on a picnic yesterday!

Yesterday was a furry fun day. My fiancée Calamity and I went on a wonderpurr picnic with a loaded picnic basket that we enjoyed. We flew kites and talked and walked and then we decided to rest on the blanket and look up at the sky. Calamity happened to see doves while we were resting.
